I used to own Hang Seng Bank, but I sold it about two years ago. I made a good profit from it. The reason I got nervous and decided to sell was because of the trade issues and China's tendency to cheat in everything with the support of communism.

As an overseas Customer, I traveled a long way to get to this place. Hang Seng Bank, unfortunately, didn't recover my stolen funds. The staffs were unfriendly and arrogant. I had to wait for a whopping 2 hours just to get some help, and mind you, the queue wasn't even busy. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. Maybe they should consider shutting this business down if they're not interested in serving their customers properly. I'm definitely going to switch banks next time!

I recently went through a name change and decided to apply for a new credit and debit card from Hang Seng Bank. I made a trip to the bank and handed over all the necessary documents. Surprisingly, the debit card arrived within two weeks, which was quite impressive. However, it has now been five weeks and there is still no sign of the credit card.

Frustrated, I decided to give them a call to inquire about the delay. To my dismay, they informed me that they did not have my identification documents reflecting the new name. They suggested that I visit the bank once again to provide them with the required information. This left me puzzled and questioning their competence. How did they manage to process my debit card without the necessary name change documents?

This level of carelessness and complete disregard for customers' time is truly disappointing. As a customer, I expect a certain level of efficiency and professionalism from a bank. Hang Seng Bank has failed to meet these expectations, and as a result, I have made the decision to switch to another bank.

It is disheartening to experience such a lack of attention to detail and disregard for customer satisfaction. Changing banks is not a decision to be taken lightly, but in this case, it is necessary to ensure that my banking needs are met with the level of service and reliability that I deserve.

If you're thinking about using the Hang Seng Bank mobile app for your banking needs, I would advise against it. The app's design is quite poor, to be honest. Every time you switch to a new mobile device, setting it up becomes a real hassle. Once the system detects that you're using the mobile app on a new phone for the first time, it freezes your online banking pay and transfer function until you complete another verification process. This can be quite time-consuming, especially for people like us who are always on the go. Nowadays, changing mobile devices is a common occurrence, so it's really ridiculous that this would cause your online banking function to freeze. In contrast, HSBC has a much better setup in this regard.

I've been banking with Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong for quite a while now, and overall, I'm pretty happy with their services. One thing that I really appreciate is their new online customer service chat feature. It's a great addition and makes it easier to get assistance without having to visit a branch.

Now, let's talk about their website. It can be a bit overwhelming and confusing at times. I mean, there's just so much going on! But hey, at least they've stepped up their game when it comes to security. It's like Fort Knox up in here! They've really made an effort to make sure our accounts are SUPER secure. So, kudos to them for that.

When it comes to currencies, they've got it covered. You've got your regular fiat currencies, and they even treat gold like a boss. It's like having a VIP currency in your account. But, here's the bummer - still no bitcoin. Come on, Hang Seng, get with the times!

Now, let's talk fees. They're not too bad, actually. I'd say they're reasonable, maybe even on the cheap side. That's always a plus in my book. However, I've heard that opening an account has become a bit more challenging lately. It used to be a breeze, but now it seems like they've tightened the screws a bit. It's still doable, especially if you're not in a rush. So, keep that in mind.

I have a feeling that Hang Seng Bank focuses more on their local customers. They might not be as keen on taking on and keeping foreign clients. It's like they work for the government, not for us regular folks. But hey, that's just how most banks operate, right?

Overall, Hang Seng Bank gets the job done. They've improved their online banking over the years, and their security measures are top-notch. Just be aware that they might not be as enthusiastic about catering to foreign clients. But hey, if you're a local customer, you're in luck!

Hang Seng Bank in Tsim Tsa Tsui is, without a doubt, the absolute worst bank I have ever encountered. The staff there are incredibly rude and completely incompetent!

Let me tell you about my experience. I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of funds from abroad on the 27th of October 2021. However, to my dismay, the money never arrived. I patiently waited for an additional two weeks, hoping that the situation would resolve itself, but alas, nothing happened! Frustrated, I decided to reach out to Hang Seng Bank via email. I provided them with all the necessary documentation, including proof of payment in the form of an MT103, and confirmed that my banking details were accurate. To my utter disappointment, their response was nothing more than a feeble suggestion that I should contact my local bank, as if the issue was not their responsibility. Can you believe it?

I endured a grueling three months, desperately waiting for Hang Seng Bank to rectify the situation. Imagine my shock and devastation when I discovered that my hard-earned *** Hong Kong dollars had been mistakenly sent to some random individual in Belgium! By the time the bank acknowledged their mistake and apologized, it was too late. The person in Belgium had already squandered all of my funds. Can you imagine the sheer audacity?

I must admit, the bank staff did offer their apologies, but what good is an apology when it cannot recover the money that was stolen from me? It's utterly disheartening.
