Handyman Plumbing and Heating – Phillip McQueen review: Frigidaire refrigerator

On January 19, 2033, Phillip McQueen of Handyman Plumbing and Heating showed up at my house without an appointment. He adjusted the thermostat and told me to watch the temperature for a few days and contact him with the results.

One week later I called McQueen as agreed, and told him the temperature was still as unacceptably high as it was before McQueen adjusted the thermostat. McQueen never did fix the refrigerator, although, according to Frigidaire, he was paid for the job.

Additionally, when I returned into the kitchen from another room while he was looking at the refrigerator, he was sticking a long pointed thermometer into a jar of food from the refrigerator. I had to throw the food away after that. He should have asked my permission before doing something like that. That action was reckless abandonment of professionalism.

McQueen did not fix the refrigerator. McQueen did not keep his promise to return after I gave him the information about the succeeding week’s temperature readings. McQueen never even contacted me after I gave him the information.

Handyman Plumbing and Heating and the owner Phillip McQueen are disreputable entities. McQueen should return the money Frigidaire paid him to Frigidaire, and Frigidaire should never use McQueen and/or his company Handyman Plumbing and Heating again.
