I purchased a puppy from this breeder, he developed hip dysplasia at 16 months old. We were devastated to learn the diagnosis, the Halls were uncaring and sent nasty emails and were downright cruel in their response to us. What's worse, they told me to give him to a Havanese rescue as this is what they have done in the past. They refused to test their dogs or alter their breeding practices or lines because according to them, health testing doesn't guarantee they won't get a genetic condition. So these carriers are still being bred by this breeder because...they just DON"T care. Look on PuppyFind, it's all about the money.
I've learned you get what you pay for...they're real nice as long as nothing goes wrong, then you're on your own. The resolution didn't come easily and it was on their terms, they will never speak to me again and it's just as well...We are a BYB's nightmare!

We have a Hall Havanese and have had nothing but a great experience. Josie is a happy and healthy 2 year old.

In addition i would ever consider any other Havanese breeder then the Halls! I work at anvwr clinic and my dog is truly what a Havanese should look like. These are true pure bred dogs!
Hall Family Havanese was the best thing to happen to my life. I have NO idea who the first comment was talking about because I know that’s not the Karen Hall I met. My family and I spent months trying to find the perfect pup for our home and this is where we found him. I absolutely adore and love my dog, he brings me so much joy and happiness. Not to mention, after we got our baby Bruno, my aunt got TWO havaneses from Karen. The one has problems with walking and his paws turn out and Karen was so understanding to my aunts frustration and did everything she could to satisfy my aunts needs. These dogs are so well behaved and loving. If you are looking for a pup... I PROMISE you! This is the place to go! I love my dog
Any individual seeking real truth should seek to hear both sides. In almost every case there is wrong on both sides. The breeder replaced the puppy which was what the contract stated, although the buyer never had signed the contract and mailed it back. The two breeding dogs that were in question concerning this matter were removed from the breeder's program. I am truly sorry that this buyer still carries bitterness and feels that she was treated nasty and disrespectful over a situation that was resolved according to the breeder's contract. This buyer did not add to her complaint that she had also purchased a female for breeding from our family that she must have been somewhat satisfied with due to the fact that she came back for a second puppy.
