Not regurgitate the experiences of the last several reviewers, but those echo exactly what we've been through since the middle of last year. The fee difference between them and ADP won't even buy you a Hamburger - ADP runs circles around them ! The monetary consequences to the previous reviewers pale by comparison to ours. In their last screw-up, Gusto debited our bank account $9,675.90 in January, 2025, for payroll liabilities they were suppose to pay the State of CA on the same day, yet sat on them for 6 months !, and finally paid in July. It's in Black & White on their own Agency Payments record, but they ignore the facts. The State had penalizing us $1,870 for late penalty + interest. When Gusto's substandard 'customer service' finally responded to the complain, they ignored the actual issue, responded with statements totally irrelevant to the actual complaint, specifically ignored the actual facts, and did not assume responsibility for their fraudulent actions. Their offer to 'settle' is outright insulting; again, not taking responsibility for the fraud they committed. If there were 'negative' stars to rate them with, would give them minus 10 stars... that's what they deserve. When one reads these reviews, they'll have to be out of their mind to engage them in ANY services. They are a disgrace.
Recommendation: DO NOT touch this company with a 10 foot poll....
