Griffin & Reed Eye Care review: I would like my complaint known to warn all future clients

Since my eye exam at Griffin & Reed Eye Care of Sacramento on September 1, 2022, I had been continually going to their optical department to have my new glasses corrected. The first time I received the new glasses, I went to look at my computer screen, and I couldn't read it. I returned to their office, explained the issue, and they submitted them to be corrected. I came in to pick up the new glasses, and still nothing had changed, and I still could not read with these glasses. The gentleman that assisted me the first time was rude and stated how I needed to be my own advocate and tell the doctor what I needed, as if he was blaming me for the incorrect prescription. Yet, after explaining the issue, they still couldn't get it right. They even had me see a different eye doctor to assess the prescription, only to find, they had the wrong prescription for me. When I came back with the new prescription written by the doctor, the next staff member of the optical department was also rude to me. At this point, I didn't want to deal with them anymore. I asked for a full refund so I could go elsewhere. I was given an excuse and told I would not get all of my money. I had to call VSP (my eye insurance company), and then finally received a check for part of my money. I feel since both times were the error of Griffin & Reed, and I was treated rudely, I shouldn't be the one taking the loss and they should not be keeping any of my money.
