Hi Sir/Ma'am,

I was working with Grid Infocom, noida since last one year. There had been delays in salary payment now after my resignation still the company refuses to do final settlement & doesn't pay by salary. I have been contacting the HR as well as spoke to the MD & CEO of the company Mr Manoj Gupta still there is no good response. Even he misbehaved in return which is really shocking.

I need the salary back & also I need to assure this dosn't happen.

Seems it is in the DNA of this Org. This practice is continuing even after 2 years. Not surprised after seeing the comment. Just wished I had seen this before taking a decision to join. Guys n Gals in the market be aware of this serious issue. There area good no of such unfortunate cases / situations which probably has not reached this section so far. Should be happening soon. How long one can build a castle of sand, mistrust and take undue advantage. Spoiling career of people.

Will definitely come down n die its own death pretty soon. How can one survive without ethics and trust ?

I also got an offer from Grid Infocom. But the location is gurgaon and on their website it is not mentioned that it has an office in noida. So is it the same company or a different one. Here is the link
http://gridinfocom.com/contact.html

Should I join the company?

I am a gic alumni. For all the potato peelers who posted negative comments, grid infocom is an excellent place to learn and grow. I had to leave grid infocom for family reason to move to another city but what i learned in grid infocom helped me to secure a good job in the new city. Attributes of potato peeler's who posted negative comments: 1) you use company resource for personal use, then you cook up your story 2) you glorify your resume as scientist and then worth not even potato peeling, so even if you work for 24 hours you can't finish a work supposed to take just one hour 3) yes stay at home and peel more onions but dont learn...you guys are a the bad mole today spoiling even the good hard working willing to learn employees...you are modern day dengue in office...I got three increments, i never had any problem...i learned a lot from experienced mentors and management...you don't want to learn and grow, then yes stay at home or go and sit in cosy chair in large company and get fat

How long a company can build a castle of sand with inefficient team members who give false claim on their skills and can't complete project on time, mistrust and take undue advantage company freedom and flexibility. spoiling career of other team members by spreading professional dengue...aspiring professionals, beware of potato peelers ! All the above can happen to you even in tcs, infosys, wipro etc for potato peelers ! but if you want to learn and grow with cutting edge technologies and secure your future and be relevant for next few years then join companies like grid infocom

Hi All,

I have worked here more than 2 years and truly speaking it was my worst years in my whole life.If anyone is joining this company it is my humble request that think twice no thrice before joining.
Here HR policy change according to the company benefit not according to the employee.and you can say that they are running a shop not a IT company.Saying Grid Infocom a IT firm is big slap on the IT companies.

If you want a good appraisal in the company then you just have to say sit in office and do back biting of other employees no need to do hard work because that never gets considered for appraisal.

Lets come to company prons :-
>The management always act as if they are giving you great opportunity, and even if you successfully complete your projects with client appreciation but still the CEO will criticize you that this was not the expected outcome and they blame you(Employees) for their project management gaps.
> No fixed working hours. If you leave office at @ 5 AM then also you have to come to office at @ 9 AM for next day otherwise half day will be marked
> FORGET your WEEKENDS, you have made some weekends plans and at the same time you get a call from your manager at friday night that you have to come to office.
>Never expect for your appraisal because this is not in the dictionary of GIC to give good appraisal to deserving employees at right time.

Lets come to company cons;-

> you have 2 years bond in which need to work like donkey 24*7*365.
>if you have taken company laptop and by chance anything get wrong with that then you have to pay the whole amount for new laptop.
>While going to client side never expect that you will get the good accommodation, if possible for the sales person they would have made you stay in tent also.
>If you are on client side project then you have to take care of yourself company just want that project should complete on time i.e 1 year project should be completed in 2 months, this is the kind of management done in GIC
>Sales person and CEO according to their benefits shown to client decides the timeline of project i.e no technical person is involved to decide the project completion cycle. Management just badly need the project in any case.

This is what I have experienced in my

Everyone does the job to earn money but in GIC they will not give you the money you deserve when you are working for company but when you make your mind to leave then suddenly they give you the package which is 2x your current package.
So All in all this is the short & brief description of Grid Infocom, which is enough to get familiar about GIC's work culture.

Pros

The management may act as if it's giving you a great opportunity. But will exploit you like no one has ever exploited you. > No fixed working hours > FORGET your WEEKENDS > Career ruining company > NO PROS WHATSOEVER > ONE MAN ARMY KINDA SETUP

Cons

> SALARY DELAY IS A ROUTINE, DELAYS UP TO FEW WEEKS / MONTHS considered normal > No HR (2 ppl in HR) > Policies meant to harass employees > Eat up incentives of employees, one employee was robbed 1 lakh of annual incentive > Worst work cutlure, pathetic HR / Management > Poorest of poor accommodations and facilities for Onsite BA's, developers > Worst sales team for Process Automation Line of bus… Show More

Advice to Management

Learn to respect your Human Resources (Employees), else Close down your petty shop

No Infrastructure - You might hear it while giving an interview that we have offices at several geographies but the truth is they just have one office in Gurugram with a seating capacity of 30-35 employees (One toilet for all - Yes, You will have to wait in queue for your turn every time)

Your work/life balance might not be very balanced - Expect to receive a call from your manager on Saturday or Sunday's night and they will assign a task to you which even they would have no clue on what and how to do

Delay in Salary - Expect a salary delay every month with a standard email notification "We are unable to process salary on 7th because of short of funds" (Oh yeah, the salary day is 7th of every month)

Perk-less salaries - Employees are waiting for their Performance linked bonuses from last 2 years (Still the company will deduct it every month from your salary)

No Provident Fund Deposits - The company is not depositing Provident funds for all the employees since August 2018

No Medical Benefits - Employees don't have a medical or life insurance cover which is vital and common in every company these days

Lack of Knowledge & Coordination - Due to inexperience leadership, most of the projects lack planning and end up in the turmoil

Misleading Designations - Vice President, Assistant Vice President, Technical Lead, Senior Developer, Developer, Junior Developer, and Trainee will do the same job irrespective of what they are being called

Don't Expect Full and Final - Even once you leave this organization you will never get your full and final settlement (People are waiting for their F&F from last 1 and half years)
