Has anyone used all the weeks they bought? We paid for 8 weeks, paid the yearly fee and then continued to pay the yearly fee to have access to excess inventory. It was my understanding that we were no longer under contract once the 8 weeks were used. We were then a year to year contract as long as we wished to stay in the program. Now that we were transfered from TAN to Vacation Quest we no longer want to be a part of the program. We loved TAN but Vacation Quest does not have the properties in the areas we vacation. I was told that it is a lifetime contract and I must pay the yearly fee for the rest of my life. They claim to have a contract that states so. I dont have a copy of that in my files! They will send me to collections and credit agencies if I dont pay. I dont know what to do!

Trying to book a trip except not sure which company i am dealing with Global Connections DVQ For My Account, my vacation quest? just want a number to try to reach someone to actually figure out how to book a trip in a place i want to go,

Paid 5K for this account and have had this account since 2005 and only used one week of the 14 weeks and 1 week on a get quick trip. have 13 weeks to use and usually none where i am traveling.

would like to speak to a representative and try to use my weeks. What is the phone number to call or who can contact me to follow up?

Hello my name is Antonio. I have been a member since 1998. I also dealt with TAN and now have to deal with Vacation Quest. I paid thousands of dollars to purchase vacation weeks like everyone else on this complaint board, and for about 25 years I have had to deal with these companies. It has been nothing short of a nightmare. I absolutely dread every time I've had to submit a vacation request because the story is always the same, the unit I request is never available. It is an absolute hassle, and very stressful to book anything. I've been paying a yearly membership fee for 25 years to have access to these properties and apparently they are never available.

I have had problems time and time again, where I have been in units where they had broken tiles in the bathroom, the air conditioning was not working, bugs inside the unit, etc. I took my wife and my two small children at the time to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and we stayed at the Hacienda Tropical, the whole time we were there the air conditioning in our room never worked. The bathroom had broken tile. We had bugs in our bedrooms that looked like roaches but they were 10 times bigger than roaches, and to top it all off I'm sting in the pool with my kids one day and here come two stray dogs into the pool area, one of them was a German shepherd and sat next to my children. My kids were absolutely terrorized. My wife and I were terrorized. I have pictures and video to prove everything I just said. Last year on Sep. 23rd, 2021 I submitted 2 requests for two units for the North Carolina coast and on March 18th, 2022 I received two emails from Vacation Quest stating that they were unable to accommodate my requests. Once again they failed to provide me accommodations.

I have been nothing but patient but enough is enough. I have been trying to book a vacation for almost 3 years and I have not been able to. I am sooooo tired of the way this company treats people. Has anyone out there filed a lawsuit against this company?

Thank you.

My name is Renee Lathrop. I bought too many weeks with TAN many years ago and loved traveling with them for a few years. Never had trouble booking condo where we wanted to travel and when we wanted to travel. Since the condo switch to Global Connections we have not any luck with quality of the place, availability nor weeks available when we would like to travel. I am looking for August 2018 around Florida panhandle - nothing really for our family. And especially nothing for two condo next to each other if we need to bring extended family for help. Today I looked up Colorado for December 2018/ January 2019 and same bs. No condo available. What is the deal? If Eric Stout or any other operations manager can help make this process easier please contact me. I tried dealing with the operators and they are no help except for Chelsi Mock. She tried to help last year but again no availability when we could travel and to the area we wanted to go. So frustrated with this whole thing!

We too have had TAN for many years. We originally bought 12 weeks and have used 6 of them. Now we are retired and finally ready and able to travel. We want to use the weeks we have left and also have access to excess inventory and to a variety of locations. Recently my husband called to try to reserve a location, he was told things that mostly left us confused. We have consistently paid all fees and are not sure what we now have access to or how we book it. The main thing he got from his conversation was that we are no longer TAN and can not use their services.

I received a call when I posted my questions I'm a plan with tan customer for over twenty years of course the comp. was sold just like everything else in the world . But I was told that my statis is still the same $99 when I use my weeks and mine was$25 a day for one extra bedroom a day, this is what I was told 20 years ago and is still the same . In all I love this company . I used 1week ten years ago had cabin I was refunded my week, this don't sound like a bad company to me, so this is not a scam thank you

My name is Mrs.Suchitra Tell. I want to say thank you to Nancy from Kansas who call me and explain to me about the contract and she also refund $210.00 credit back in my account. I felt a lot better that you care about your members.
I'll try to take a good look at the specilals trip that they offer from now on.

My name is Mrs.Suchitra Tell, we used 2 of our 7 weeks. It was a very disappoint trip, we got charged $630.00 plus $129.00 plus we already paid $2, 500.00 for the 7 weeks plan, and we only gets 2 bedroom condo. We will tell all my friends and family never sigh up with Southern Journey, Global Connections. The sale man rush us to sigh paper and make it sound like every trip only cost $129.00 and no more other charges will be add (besides $2, 500.00). We was not please with our first time experienced with the service that we had already paid for. They forgot to tell me the off peak season, may be they did but was not clear to us, since we are the 63 years of ages. I have to pay $336.00 per year for membership charge until I used up all 7 weeks, I hope I don't get charge for the rest of my life?
I'll take my contract to my Attorney to look it over.

My name is John Shepard(Garland, Texas), we have never used our 8 weeks. Therefore, I called today and 5 times no one has been able to help. A young Black women name Pam hung up in my face. Then I called back again and I passed to a white male who state the had to transfer me to Express Travel. I waited for a few min and it was a voice mail. I hit the keep 0 and a person told me She work for Tan could not help. I called back again it was a voice message. If we cannot get a trip outside of New York then we need our money of 5, 000.00 dollars back our maybe 60 minutes wants to do our story.
I left a message for Eric but he is out of the office, so I was transfer again to Nancy who is out of the office.
If this is a true travel company I hate to see the real company in action making sure you get the help that is needed.
Please do not go with this company due to the fact this is just a scam! But I understand company's CEO are going to jail if it can be proved they are not rendering the services.

YUPPPPPPPP Scam!

I'll be in line with you - paid $5k upfront - had major health issues - never been able to take a trip - my yearly fee has gone from $129 to now $298 and I've never traveled. Let's get this company to 60 minutes! I never agreed to $298...I agreed to $129 only!
