Genesis Healthcare / GenesisHCC.com review: unprofessional non-transparent scheduling/hiring practices

6/26/2019-7/18/2019 and ongoing. I (Trudy) have four years of RN experience and have my BSN, I have been with this company for almost six months on a part time 3rd shift position. My last position was RN supervisor. When hired I was told they like to promote from within and that they had flexible hours. So I was prepared to work and show my worth to get promoted. However I didn't win this companies popularity contest. As a result they are not allowing me the opportunities to advance my position from my current position of staff RN on 3rd shift.
On 6/26 I applied for Infection Control RN full time day position. I not only met the the requirements I also met the preferences for this job listing and it had been listed since 3/2019. After failing to attain the Infection Control RN position because according to HR (Karen, and Lisa) it was filled, although almost a month later it is still listed on there job site and was even updated on 7/12/2019. Hmm..
So I recently applied instead for staff RN day shift full time position. I know how many travelers I see and give report to in the morning and also last week a full time day nurse quit. Yet even though it wasn't posted nor did I receive an email telling me of this/these opportunities I am told when I applied it was filled. Further HR told me they don't know there own available positions or shifts, that only there scheduler does. So if the scheduler (Lori) doesn't like you or they really don't want to lose you on 3rd shift well its easy enough due to lack of transparency for them to just say they have no other open positions.
I even tried applying to the other Genesis here in town "Rutland Health and Rehab Center" full time day shift. Which the same HR personal (Karen G, and Lisa B)who hire there also and are the HR for that building. However HR told me even if they had day time positions at Rutland Health and Rehab that they refuse to do any lateral transfers. I asked "So I would have to quit and then reapply at that Genesis?" I received no definitive answer.
So eventually the scheduler said I had to fill out this "Request for change in Shift form" No one mentioned this until 7/17/19. So I lost almost a month in this process as even though I immediately filled it out that day, I was told it would take weeks to even hear back, and not hear back on a job but just the okay to eventually change shifts. Originally HR told me all I had to do was talk to the scheduler. That turned out to not be true.
Further I said to the Scheduler, and I even wrote this on the request, that I would happily accept part time first shift positions. Thinking it would be a good start. However again I was told that was filled too.
Yet according to there own website that was updated on 7/16/2019 they have several full time positions available.
I have saved all email correspondence as it relates to the above between myself and HR.
A desirable Resolution would be at minimum to be able to change shifts in a timely manner, but even more satisfactory would be to get the RN Infection Control position which I exceed expectations for, and originally applied for.
