General Motors review: 2016 chevy trax

I have a 2016 chevy trax vehicle I purchase september 2016 in pottstown, pa at the chevy dealer-was brand new-just this year I was experiencing issues with the steering wheel locking up-I could not move the wheel-thank goodness I was not driving when it happened it could have caused an accident and I might not be here today. I had it repaired at the nucar chevy in new castle, de since I had moved a few years back and it cost me over $1200 and I called general motors to see if there was anything they could do since car only has only a little over 30, 000 miles and I told them that I considered it a safety issue-like I said thank goodness it did not happen while I was driving-they had me talk to a few different people within a few weeks or so and said they would contact the dealership where I had it repaired and review the case to see if I would qualify for any assistance towards the cost and finally they decided not to help me at all with the cost only thing was offered was free xm radio-which I feel that is an insult and I am very frustrated with general motors and I will never purchase one of there cars again or recommend them to anyone.
