Hi just checked my credit card statement and also had a transaction appear labelled GC*AGODA INTERATIONA ROZELLE dated 3/11/14 for $730.98 definately not mine.
I rang Commonwealth bank, who put a stop on it and it was immediately identified as a fraudulent transaction, and the monies will be credited back to the card by Friday (with in 48hrs). But they have to cancel the Credit card and issue a new one, but should be send mid next week. I have recently did a trip from Melb to Qld and booked hotel rooms via Wotif and Trivago prior, which were rediverted to Hotel .com but nothing to agoda. The bank can't give me any further information as to who or where it happened. This is the first time that I have been ripped off. But it seems by the comments above, to be a common scamm, tell all of your friends to check the statements.
Well I spoke too soon, My Commonwealth bank withdrew their offer of a reversal in 48hrs, I now have to pay the $730.98 and wait up to 45 days. Not happy with that outcome. But I have managed to contact Agoda by leaving a message on their Sydney voicemail, and they did ring back and have checked and say that it is definately fraud and the will refund in 7-10 working days. The booking was done over the internet using my card details, but will not tell me who or how they got my details. Will have to see it they keep their promise...

Yes we have just received a mysterious claim by GCS Agoda International Rozelle for $93.41 on our June Credit Card account and we didn't know what it was for. I was just trying to find it on the internet when this site came up. So looks like we have lost out too ... thankfully not so much as some of you it seems.
I have just received my credit card statement before
Easter and there is a charge from Agoda International Rozelle Au for 636.90 not mine. This was charged to me on the 05/03/2015, when I was clearly in the air to Bali and all my accommodation was booked and paid for last October 2014. By looking at Google it appears to be a common tread for Agoda to scam people, this should be escalated to the fraud branch of AFP. I am also going to contact A Current Affair as this should be highlighted to unsuspecting people
I at agoda site booking a singapore hotel found the credit card of unknown charge rm623. 00, they twice of charge in my credit card, and a lot of queries but no email replies
Same happened to me ..i booked an Italian train e-ticket on line for 19 Euro, , came back to me as a $130 charge by GCS*Agoda International.
