My nephew purchased a truck and I co-signed for him
My nephew purchased a truck and I co-signed for him. When McKenny Chev completed the paperwork the truck is registered in my name. My nephew purchased a truck from McKenny Chevrolet and I co-signed. However, when the paperwork was completed the truck is listed and registered in my name. I've tried to work to get the truck listed in the right county and also get the loan information changed to where I'm not listed as the primary but the secondary owner. I have received a tax notice for a vehicle and received notices from Sharonview Credit Union requesting proof of insurance on the truck. I've tried to correct but I'm still being told it's the way the paperwork was filed. I'm very disappointed with how McKenny Chev has basically file paperwork to sell a truck to a young man who couldn't afford it but in order to make the sell they used my credit information and used me as the primary without my authorization. I only completed an online application as the co-applicate not the primary. I did not visit the dealership nor did I speak to salesman so how can you sell me a truck all the paperwork should be listed in my nephew's name.
