My name is Rev. Marion Hedger. I am an ordained Spiritualist Minister, and Board Certified Psychic Medium. I have passed exams in The Ethics of Spirituality (some of which have been given to psychologists, etc.). I am just a Psychic Medium, trying to do my best for people. I am not purporting to be a doctor, or anything else.
I charge $185 per hour for psychic services. Because I am mindful of the fact that most people have a budget, I offer a half hour option, too for $95. This rate is at the LOW END OF AVERAGE FOR NEW YORK CITY. Like most people, I have rent, mortgage, health insurance, etc. to pay. Because of the need to show some credibility, I have incorporated myself as "The British Psychic, Inc." which means I declare everything that I make and pay my taxes. I am not hiding anything.
I have been featured in "The Real Housewives of New York City", The Village Voice, The New York Post, The London Sunday Times, and several podcasts. I will appear in a 2 part docuseries next year about psychics and mediums. What I like is that they have attempted to show the serious side of what I do. I am an advocate for getting psychics and mediums licensed in New York City, as they do in Salem, MA.
I keep lists of referrals, which I gladly give out free of charge. A lot of people are hurting, and I am not of the mindset to try to take advantage of anyone. I keep lists of therapists, career counsellors, and so on. I am not married to any one of them. Actually, I usually preface my list of referrals with "I do not give out this list looking for kickbacks. Actually, if anyone tried to do that with me, I would remove them from my list". I did remove ONE therapist from my list who was committing Medicare fraud.
I'm told that I change people's lives. One client came back, in tears, and gave me a large bouquet of flowers because she said that she would never have gone to that person (therapist) if she had not had my list - even though I had no knowledge that she had gone, or to whom she had gone to. It is simply not my business. I am just very intent on handpicking professionals for my lists as there are a lot of Charlatans out there.
Lastly, Naomi. You always had the option to tell me you were not happy with your reading, if indeed you HAD a reading with me, but you did not. Instead, you wrote here trying to get 2 professionals into trouble. This says more about you, and your character, than anything else to me. I am sorry that you are obviously very unhappy and I hope that you find the professional help you so obviously need!
I have known Marion Hedger for many years and have had numerous readings with her over the years, and all I can say is that she is one of the most honest and ethical people I know. Her readings are remarkably accurate and insightful and they have helped me navigate the ups and downs of life. Marion is the last person I would ever accuse of being dishonest or a scam artist. She has always been forthright and sincere in all my interactions with her. I am sorry Ms. Semeniuk had a disappointing experience, but I suspect her disappointment has more to do with herself than with Ms. Hedger.
