Please whatever you do for your merchant needs DO NOT use Hudson leasing and EMS they are the biggest merchant scam in the business and I mean SCAM. We lost our merchant services with EMS do to discrepancies on our website they said the do not provide services to websites that have Remote virus removal or Remote Computer repair. We complained and said you checked out our website before approval and they said their risk department determined that we where to risky for their services and we parted ways no big deal until Hudson Leasing was still charging our account. This is where the scam comes to play. EMS signed us up with Hudson Leasing. Hudson leasing say we are responsible for 48 months of vpos that EMS signed us up for. I told Hudson Leasing that EMS canceled our agreement. Hudson told us we signed a NON-CANCELABLE LEASE. Bottom line is if you sign up with EMS DO NOT Sign up with Hudson leasing tell EMS you have your own Virtual terminal with authorize.net who doesn’t make you sign a lease agreement and only charges you 9 bucks a month. HUDSON LEASING is a ripoff. I could see HUDSON leasing point if we caused EMS to shut us down but we didn’t as PER EMS email We can no longer offer your company merchant services do to the content of your website. We didn’t change anything on our website from day one we processed 4 services through EMS and then we get a call from risk saying our services are to high risk and that they are canceling our merchant agreement. Good OLE HUDSON LEASING is still charging us our monthly fee and told us we could buy out our lease for $2000.
The company I worked for had this scam company. I told them I had no ownership of the company when they had me sign a contract I asked if they needed an officer to sign and they said no. Now the company is out of business and they want me to personally paid the balace of the lease. They are a SCAM, THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL FROM ME! DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH A SCAM COMPANY AS THEY ARE ! THEIVES JUST PLAN THEIVES NOTHING BUT THEIVES !
I signed up with ems 3 years ago through a neighbor. He assured me that i could cancel my services at anytime with no recourse and i believed him. Due to covid i had no choice and had to shut down my business. I canceled my account with ems with no problems. The problem came when FIRST HUDSON LEASE contacted me and informed me that i had to buy out my lease in order to get out of this contract. That my lease agreement had an automatic renewal set into place and i had to pay the remaining balance for the contract. I was extremely upset because i was mislead and trusted my neighbor when he told me no recourse and that i could cancel at anytime. In which he no longer works for this company. I dealt qith maryanne @ FIRST HUDSON LEASE, who again was another scam artist. She stated that she could offer a settlement and if we paid it then this situation would be resolved. I agreed and mailed them a check and wrote in the notation that this was a final payment and this account is closed. Now again after several months FIRST HUDSON LEASE COMPANY is now contacting me again for more money. When i explained that this matter was settled with maryanne they stated they had no record and that if i did not pay the remaining balance on the lease they were sending the account to a collection agency. I hung up on this very rude man and called maryanne and she once again tried to offer me a settlement once again for an account in which i already thought i had settled with her previously. This company is absolutely horrible. I had been in business over 30 years and FIRST HUDSON LEASE COMAPNY has got to be the worst company next to CARFAX in which i have ever dealt with. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE, DECEPTIVE, PUSHY, AND OVERBEARING. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND AFTER THIS REVIEW I AM SUBMITTING A COMPLAINT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
My merchant account was canceled (without legitimate cause) and First Hudson continues to get payments each month. I was informed this was independent of the merchant account. I have no problem with that; however, the individual filling out my paperwork stated the lease was 18 months and when I later received a copy of the paperwork - it had been filled out for 48 months. Either the company or their representative shows lack of honesty! tTheir response to me - tough, you owe 48 months. I'm very clear it was changed. I would NEVER have agreed to 48 months equipment rental - the cost would be much higher than competition!
CAUTION! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FIRST HUDSON.
