Findlay roofing put a new roof on my house and it was pretty good. My insurance company, Liberty Mutual, checked it out and they didn't like it. They said they used old stuff and there were other problems. Findlay was supposed to be there for the check, but they didn't show up. I paid for the roof anyway. It was a bummer.

I gotta say, Findlay Roofing is the bomb! Tracy was super cool and explained everything to us when she came out to give us the estimate. Adam was also really helpful and explained the whole process in detail. Carlos and his crew did an awesome job fixing stuff before the roof replacement. And the roofing crew was just amazing! They got the whole thing done in one day and even wrapped our house, bushes, and deck with tarps to catch all the debris. When they left, you couldn't even tell they were there except for our beautiful new roof! They were quick to answer any questions we had and kept us in the loop the whole time. And their website is pretty sweet too. Thanks Findlay Roofing, you guys rock!

Findlay Roofing did our roof on April 10. A bunch of guys came and started working without even knocking on the door. Only one guy talked to us, and he used gestures. They didn't have a boss on-site, and they didn't do a final walk-through with us. They left without telling us. We found nails and tarpaper in our yard for days afterward. We even found some in the attic vent. They didn't care about the debris, even though they say they protect your yard and family. We had to call and ask for an inspection. The inspector didn't say sorry or act surprised. We paid them in full, but they didn't treat us well. We wrote a letter to the owner, but he never answered. They say they have good customer service, but they don't. We wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I hired Findlay Roofing & Construction, Inc. to fix a leak in my roof for more than $1,000 last year. They didn't give me any pics to show that the job was done. When it rained, I couldn't get anyone to respond to my emails or calls about the leak. Now, after a year, the leak is even worse than before. It's a shame. They did a good job replacing my roof 15 years ago, but their repair service and follow-up is terrible. I'd appreciate a response to my original complaint and for them to come back and fix the problem properly with photos to prove it.

I got a new roof put in on July 15. While they were doing it, my *** downstairs stopped working. I called my home warranty company and they sent a guy. I gave him $85 and he said the *** refrigerant line had a hole in it from a mail from when it was being installed. I called Findlay roofing on Saturday and emailed them. They sent me an email on Monday saying they couldn't pay to fix it because they're not responsible. It says this in the customer expectations. I'm really bummed! I had to pay hundreds of dollars because the installers were careless! That's not fair! I paid them in full after the job was done, but it's been 90 degrees or hotter! They don't care about their customers. They only offered me an email. I'm never using them again!

I got Findlay Roofing to fix my roof. They messed up my siding on the chimney when they tried to put in flashing. They said the siding was already messed up, but that wasn't true. I had the roof and siding checked before the job and there was no damage. Even one of their workers checked and said there was no damage. I had two other checks done after the job and both said Findlay Roofing messed up the siding while doing the job. They pulled on the siding to put in the flashing and that's when it got messed up.

Findlay Roofing & Construction, Inc. didn't meet me before starting. They left the underlay exposed for 28 days without using tarps because of the weather. The crew left shingles, supplies, nails, flashing, and other debris on the roof, gutters, yard, and neighborhood. They left all materials outside, in the sun/rain, on the roof/driveway. Shingles were draped over roof ridges, violating the installation guide. The project started on July 6 and was "completed" on September 22, taking 79 days for a one to two-day job. It's been 118 days since the contract, and I still have issues with the roof installation. Other roofers have confirmed these errors, and I'm waiting for official estimates. The manager denies the need for more repairs and is threatening me with collections.

Findlay Roofing & Construction, Inc. charged me for inspecting and testing my roof for a leak, even though it was under warranty. I had to call them multiple times before someone finally came to inspect the roof. The original installer took pictures and said it was the cricket on the roof, not the chimney. But when they sent someone else to inspect, they said it was the chimney trim. I asked to see the original installer's photos and have him present during the water test, but they refused. They also charged me $450 for the water test without telling me beforehand. I felt like they took advantage of me and were not transparent about their charges and procedures. I am very disappointed in their handling of my account.

I hired Findlay Roofing & Construction, Inc. to replace my roof after it was damaged by two trees falling on my home. They promised to provide a photo portfolio of all damages and repairs to assist with my insurance claims. However, they neglected the manufacturer's installation requirements and installed roofing materials over damaged and rotten decking. During the walk-through, I identified several problems, including a wavy appearance of the shingles and ridge vent, continuous flashing substituted for proper flashing, and kickouts and drip edge installed over rotten wood. The crew failed to cap electrical wires, leaving exposed live wires close to insulation and the area of the leak. I sent a formal complaint, and repairs were scheduled, but rain revealed that the repairs had failed. An independent roof inspection revealed that the shingles had not been installed to the manufacturer's specifications, compromising the roof's integrity. Findlay Roofing & Construction, Inc. responded by demanding full payment or a lien.
