We own a FIAT 500, 2016 two door hatchback. The radio went out just two months after the warranty expired. We discovered from all the phone calls with FIAT, that the radio problem is a known issue.

Parts chain took three long months to get the radio in, and we had to pay a horrible price of $1, 190.00 to get the car back home and working. The radio is a central component of the electrical system, we were informed.

I contacted everything from corporate level, the FCA complaints division, and the local dealership. No one had the guts to take responsibility for a faulty product and horrible time line on service.

We won't be buying a FIAT CHRYSLER JEEP corporation product again during our lifetimes. I was a fan of FIAT since U.S. Navy days in the Mediterranean and Italy; no longer!

Desired outcome: full coverage of the known issue/product fault
