I ordered from FashionNova on 05/05/2019 and my package was delivered on 05/08/2019. Every item I ordered was incorrect. I tried to follow the Easy Returns process that they claim to have by going to the Returns Portal. The Returns Portal did not find my order #. I then emailed them because it says they have customer service 24/7 and to contact them via provided email address. I received an automated response but nothing more. I then decided to search for a 1-800 number but that was nowhere to be found on their site. When I finally found the 1800 number on the Better Business Bureau's site (because there are numerous complaints about their order fulfillment and customer service) I was able to make a call to Customer Services. When I finally got someone they explained that the Return Portal had a glitch and that they have been having issues with their new system so several orders have been sent with incorrect items. As was the situation in my case. The C.S. representative asked for details about my order and I let her know that everything that was sent was incorrect. And she said as long as it was reported within two days of the order I would be able to receive a refund. She sent me an email to reply to and asked that I sent pictures of the items that I received that were incorrect, so I did. She asked me to unpackage the items (3 items total) and take a picture of tags and reply to email with pictures. I sent the pictures back to her and then she said that the items she shows on her side are the items that I received. I told her that all three items were incorrect and that was the reason for my call so that I could return them with the packing slip marked incorrect item sent.
She said since what she sees on her side are what I was sent, then they can't give me a refund. She all of a sudden had a different answer than her initial statement about their system having a glitch and incorrect items being sent out. She said that they would not be able to issue a refund even though they were incorrect items but they would send me a credit. Why would I attempt to buy more items from them when they clearly are having issues with their system and they will continue to send the wrong items and then I have to pay to have them shipped back and not even be able to receive a full refund. I think this company is fraudulent and just out to take consumers' money. The reviews on their site are fake. I filled out a review on all three items they sent me and none of my reviews were posted even after confirming my review via an email they send once you submit a review. I looked back at all three items they sent me and there were nothing but good reviews on the clothing. I think this company is using fake reviews to get people to buy from them and nowhere in the buying process does it say that only store credits will be given when returning. There are even some items that are non-returnable and I'm not sure if they let people know before the order is complete if you cannot return those items, even for a store credit. I will never place an order with Fashion Nova again and I am also filing a complaint against them on the Better Business Bureau website. I will post my reviews of this company in all places possible in order to bring awareness to those that are not aware of these bad business practices Fashion Nova is becoming known for. SHUT DOWN FASHION NOVA!
