EvincoDesign.com review: Trust me, it's not worth it dealing with them 5

First of all, let me tell you that I never write reviews about products or services, but this experience with evincodesign.com was so bad that I believe their potential customers should know what they are getting into. Second of all, all of these nice reviews about evincodesing.com custumer service sound really strange to me as there is actually no customer service! I called them maybe 10 times and the phone was answered by some third party each and every time. They would tell me that all they can do is take a message from me and someone from evincodesign.com will call me right away. As of today, I wasn't able to talk to their wonderful customer service!

What happened is I ordered a TV stand from them a month ago. On their website, they tell you that this item usually ships in 2-3 days. I found the same information in my email once I received a confirmation of my order. My credit card was charged right away, of course. As I did not get any status updates from them for a week, I called them to see if this TV stand has shipped or not. Third party took a message from me, promising that someone will call me right away with updated status, however all I got was an email, informing that now the TV stand will ship in 4-6 days. A week later, no news from them. I call again, I get another e-mail, that now the TV stand will ship in 2-3 days. Another week passed, still nothing. I call again, get an e-mail that now my order will be shipped in 4 days. 4 days later I call again, I receive an e-mail that the TV stand will ship in 48 hours. Nothing happens in 48 hours either, so I call again and I get an emai that they definitely have the TV stand in stock and the freight company will pick it up tomorrow. Same story a day later - I call them again, they send me an e-mail that now the order will ship in 3 days. Of course there is nothing to report 3 days later either. I am done playing this stupid game with them, so I will dispute the charges today. I already filed a claim with Better Business Bureau.

I am very hopeful that this review will help at least one person! Trust me, it's not worth it dealing with them!

My chairs took 6 months to arrive when they were 2-3 weeks online and then I was advised 12 weeks. Then they needed a small replacement part for a foot and it's been 10 months emailing to and fro with them saying they will send it out but it never arriving. Just contacted better business bureau to get assistance, also noted as per the post below that they are an F on the better business bureau site. It's a shame because I love my chairs !

I am so frustrated about their customer service... i had orderd things and all was well, the minute i had to cancell an order and awaiting a credit...suddendly no calls and no follow ups, ... i have left at least 10 to 15 messages for someone to call me but no one calls, a few emails telling me that they are checking in to my credit and will let me know its been since begining of July and no help... They have already my money since April when i placed the order and now they are not giving me a credit or anything...

I purchased a reproduction of an Eames chair for $999.99 from Evinco 3 years ago. Since owning the chair one of the leather buttons came out of the seat and an irregularity, hard raised spot, in the leather upholstery caused a small home to appear in the armrest. I first emailed Evinco in June asking if there was any sort of warranty on the chair and if I would be able to get a replacement button. When I didn't hear back via email after 2 weeks, I started calling. To date I have called 7 times- It is now the 1st of Sept. As of today I am still waiting on a call from Evinco. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with this company. Terrible customer service and the furniture doesn’t live up to expectations it is NOT built to last!

They suck! If you don't want to wait several months for delivery (while they put you off every time you connect with them) - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Just search a bit on Google, Bing or Yahoo or whatever - you'll see all the complaints about their bad service. I should have done this, too. Unfortunately didn't. Hence, I'm waiting for delivery since more than 4 months!

We are more than willing to help you contact the manufacturer directly. We understand you have had the chair for 3 years and probably used it alot, but we can help the manufacturer get you a new button. Please give us you number so we can help you speak with them directly.
