BEWARE! Bought a dog from this breeder, she sent me wrong dog she kept pick of litter that I was promised. When I received dog she had very high count of bacteria in her stools, worms, coocidia, ear mites/ears both infected, kennel cough, fleas a tick, and eye entropian in her left eye, very bad skin rash on her belly. Took her 2 mos to ship dog to us, 4 mos to get paperwork on dog very scared that she was scamming and keeping my money. She shipped dog to different airport than where she was told to, I had to drive 8 hours further one way in getting my puppy. The dog only grew to the size of a 4 mos old golden with a tiny head, and looking like a rat or something. i asked around and was sent pictures of the sire at a dog show what she was breeding is passing bad genetics down. Look elsewhere, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LADY... Very unethical breeder just breeding for $$$$ NOT the welfare of the animals or others of what she is doing. She refuses to replace your dog, like most other breeders do. SHE WONT and is a witch about it all towards you in emails. Please contact me and I will send you the pictures of the sire and a normal sized golden showing at a dog show side by side with judge with the golden sire she passed that bad horrible genetic to us, and I will send you pictures of her too, as like I did to this breeder for months that did absolutely nothing about it. Very witchy lady to deal with...watch out, sad. God needs to deal with her and her bad ethics she is doing to others, very sad. Please pray for her.

Leah Winkler is doing the same thing with Charlie. She bad mouths him in one sentence and then sells him for $12, 000 and AFTER she gets the money for him it is discovered she sold him with heart worm. Leah is the most pathetic excuse for a human being I have seen. I will continue to try and warn people about her. Maybe the latest criminal charges against her will slow her down but I doubt it. People beware of Leah Winkler. She will make you sorry you ever heard her name.

Standard for Golden retriever male is 56-61cm in withers, FDD Morris Traveller was officially measured as regulation asks from us by breeding councellor and he is 58cm high. Which makes him perfectly middle size in standard. If you are used to elephants, well then, he might be a bit too small for you :-)
He is Interchampion, International Show champion, Champion of 5 European Countries, was awarded Best in Show in international dogs show (over 3.000 entries), he was awarded Best in Show in Special Retriever Club Show (over 100 just in golden retriever entries) by Cate Crosbie (Garbank Lislone, UK), got CACIB (BOS), CAC under Ann Hagger (Fairfield, UK) last month. Was awarded 15times Best of Breed, 13 times CACIB (Best of Sex in international dog show), 32times winner of class, CAC. Became The dog of the year 2009 and the Show dog of the year. Is nominated for CRUFTS for life. Is candidate for champion of another 4 european countries.
Ask yourself if he can be undersized dog and be this successful. I dont think I need to comment any more.

I can only say that from my experience with the Winkler's I would have to vouch for Eva being correct. I have dealt with their sleezy actions for a couple of years with what they did to my little girl. I have to agree with Eva that selling the Winkler's a dog was the worst mistake I have EVER made as a breeder. The person above who is saying this is all lies is Leah herself. She has more names than I have socks. You only have to read what she writes to know it is her with her filthy mouth and vulgar language, plus the fact that she comes across as illiterate with her writing. F"YI - GRCA standards say you can't breed a ### until she is over two and has final clearances - she bred the "limited" registration ### she got from me at 15 months. Fortunately I was able to get the registration reversed by AKC before the puppies were born and therefore she wasn't able to continue using my ### in her unethical breeding program. I have a copy of the letter from AKC posted for public viewing to prove that AKC reversed the registration. It's hard to defend against the truth and all of the cursing and ranting that Leah does will not change the fact that she is a liar, unethical and inhumane to animals. In her own words she told me she was beating the F___ out of my puppy and it was my fault because I wouldn't release the registration. If that is the type of person you want to defend - then you two deserve each other. I heard from a lady last week who she tried to sell a dog she bought from overseas and somehow manipulated the lady into believing there was something wrong with the dog and she was getting two replacement puppies for the one bad one - yet she was trying to sell the original dog for $5, 500.00 (USD). Hopefully the person who was sending her the replacement "puppies" got notified in time. The Winkler's pull every scam in the book and use God as a shield. Well the God I know wouldn't condone the actions of the Winkler's. They send you an e-mail cursing you out, calling you every name in the book, and close the message with things like - you will burn in hell. If we all stay diligent against them eventually they will have no one to buy dogs from and therefore we can shut down this puppy mill. I note that after my posting yesterday with their new kennel name of English Cream Goldens that they have now closed that - wonder what kennel name they will try and steal next? Watch your websites - if they find something on it that they like - they just cut and paste it and use it as their own. The Winkler's are very pathetic people. If they weren't so vicious you might feel sorry for them but their vicious attacks on people and the poor dogs they get their hands on is very cruel. We have even purchased a puppy from her last Litter in 2010 and I must say
quality comes from Slovakia.
Eva from Evidog is one of the kindest most caring breeders I know. The puppy I got from her
was healthy and happy and grew to be a very nice sized golden retriever.

the internet diving the weirdest stories.

Hello All,
I just wanted to shed some light on this subject - as it seems this type of thing runs around the internet like crazy. Any person who has a problem with someone, should work out the situation in a kindly Christian way.
I personally know Eva very well. I have even purchased a dog from her. Eva from Evidog is one of the kindest most caring breeders I know. The pup I got from her was healthy and happy and grew to be a very nice sized golden. She takes a lot of time showing her dogs, and caring for them. She has contacted me several times asking how my dog is, that I got from her. She is sincere and very caring for the pups she produces - which is not all that many.
Anybody that has gotten a pup shipped from another country knows that the potential is there for a pup to get coccidia. But how do we (the readers of this complaint) know that the originator of this complaint is telling the truth? How do we know that the pup did not get coccidia from the home of the person giving the complaint or got it while the pup shipped? I personally know many vets that say 85% of pups all have coccidia - that stress causes it to react and manifest itself (as well as an over growth of bacteria). The stress alone with the flight, could have caused it to happen.
I would certainly question the person writing this complaint - even if I did not know Eva. Anybody that refers to their dog as a "rat or something", to me does not show much love for a dog. Personally Eva's dogs are all very big and grow to some of the tops in standard. If this dog did not grow very well and was as small as a 4 month old - I would question the care of the person giving the complaint. Even a sickly pup (if that so was the case) with proper nutrition and care would still grow to normal size unless the care was not proper or giving the dog enough nutrition. The owner who wrote this complain sounds like they are not a good owner at all, and I feel sorry for the pup being in their care.
As per the Winklers they have changed their kennel name and websites several times - mainly for the fact that complaints are popping up all over the place about this breeder. They also used a photo of a family as their own - when in reality it was not them at all (on their website). You can't trust a complaint from someone who hides what they do, and says they are somebody they are not. Please don't trust much of what is written in complaint boards.
I know someone who got a complaint against them because someone wanted to buy a breeding dog from them, and they refused to sell them one. Then that puppy buyer went up and posted all kind of horrible lies about them on the internet. You can't make EVERYONE in the world happy ALL the time. It is just not possible. But you can do the best you know how, be truthful in all dealings, and follow the advice Christ showed on this earth. If you do that, you may still have people against you, but others will still see Christ in you!
Ok, so sorry if I wrongly mark you as Winkler. I think, all photos on our website in "news" tell about our love for breed and our goldens. Maybe, it is mistake when "about us" is blanc, but in no case purpose. Please, show me how much of breeders in US are going to shows with their dogs. More from them have goldens as "origin of salary". It is very diferent in Europe. But I have beautiful relationships with other owners of my puppies in US.
Hm, can you write me why this peoples (Winklers) changed their Kennel´s name? Website? etc...

I am shocked from what I read here. Zachary S. and Gin K are other names for "breeders" LEA and HAROLD W WINKLER - FROSTY PAW GOLDENS. You can to know them from several notes here, for example Frosty Paw Golden Retrievers — Fraudulent Dog Breeding .
I did worst decision in my "breeder´s life" when I sell them my little princess Evidog Icequeen - the best female from this litter! Breed of Golden Retrievers is our big hobby, no bussines. We have excellent jobs, family with little children - it is why the evidog website has a blank "About Us" page. Our time we spend with family and goldens first. I had some threatening letters from this people (last from 31.12.2010).
We have several puppies in US, we are in contact with owners always. Contact with Winklers and Frosty Paw Golden is as nightmare. I think, they calculate with "language barrier", but I will deffend. My English isnt so good, but I think you understand me.

I was looking for Eva's web site and came across this trash. I'm not going to wax lyrical. I'm a Brit, lived in Slovakia for 18 years. Both my Boy's are cream Goldens from Eva. We have never had a problem with ANY aspect of the dogs and love them both to bits. Barney is now approaching 13 years old and will not be with us for much longer. Sheggy will need a new buddy or he will go daft on his own. When we need to, there is not one shred of doubt we will be asking Eva, once again to trust us with one of her dogs.
