AVOID THIS KENNEL. The husband and wife that own/operate under this kennel name use either Lea Winkler, Leah Winkler, Harold Winkler, Toby, and various other names.
They purchased a female from me on a "limited" registration then committed fraud with the AKC to get a full registraton on her. I filed the appropriate complaint with the AKC and got the registration reversed proving she committed fraud.
She went ahead and bred the female at age 15 months. She is now advertising puppies out of that female for sale. The name on the female is Sydney. Registered name is Honor's Sonic Boom's Girl Sydney with AKC Registration #SR50918911. Please be advised if you buy a puppy out of that female she will NOT be registered with AKC. You will be getting ripped off - she will give you various excuses why the AKC papers are not available but be advised - you will never get them.
I can prove she abused Sydney when I refused to give her a full registration on her - after she bought her on a limited registration and took her home. I have e-mails saying she is beating her.
THIS WOMAN IS A TOTAL SCAM ARTIST. She has warrants out for her arrest in at least one state, if not more. I have the documentation to prove this and will be happy to provide it.
If you come across this woman, run the other way. She is the MOST unethical puppy mill I have ever run across.

This is a joke. It is readily apparent that Lea wrote her own endorsement. Note the spelling, method, etc. She is good at forgery and fraud I have to give her that - but that, in my humble opinion, is nothing to be proud of. Call Honor's Goldens and ask them about her - that is the name she fradulently uses on at least two of her dogs. Call Scess Goldens and ask them about their dealings with her. How often does she change her kennel name. I guess when you get enough complaints against you it's time to change. I have only known her for two of them - Desert Sun Goldens and now Frosty Paws. Call Hickory Police Department (the police that handle the area she lives in) and ask them what they know about her. Call Newport Beach, California police deparment and ask about the warrant they have out for her for Assault & Battery. I can go on and on, however, she isn't worth it - she is a scam artist and the most screwed up individual I have EVER dealt with. Lea you should have someone else write your reviews - your ignorance shows in your writing style.

You say she (Lea) withdrew the papers - what a freaking joke. Attached is the AKC letter saying they have finished reviewing my complaint and had reversed the registration. If the dog is so bad looking why does she advertise her on her site as being "fabulous"?

Leah and Harold Winkler are now operating under a new name (gee I guess if you keep changing your kennel name you can stay ahead of the bad reputation you have. She is still the same rip off, animal abuser, puppy mill she was two years ago. BTW Leah - I am still waiting for your slander suit - gee you find out you can't sue when people are telling the truth? I can now give out about 8 other names of people she has ripped off, harassed, lied to, etc. Just contact me. Forgot - her new kennel name is English Creme Goldens. If you are considering selling her a puppy - PLEASE - for the sake of your puppy - don't do it. I can provide e-mails from her where she tells me she is beating the F____ out of the puppy she got from me when I refused to release the limited registration. The registration got reversed by AKC after they reviewed all documentation. I have hundreds of pages of information on her and am happy to share it so you don't have to go through what I did. This is an old post. But the Winklers are still leaving a path of destruction of the innocent reputable people. The winkler family, multitude of alias's and kennel names has yet slandered another and another. If you are computer savvy at all, there are mug shots and arrest reports. Scams aplenty in more then dogs. More than one professional has made the comment they are afraid of her ( Leah, , or whatever she uses). Her last remark ? I know where you live.

Since Legacy is located in Texas, and you are located in Delaware, could I ask you what is the source of your knowlege about Legacy's dogs? How do you know their dogs have no "verifiable elbow clearance information" or "verifiable eye clearances"? From where did you get the information about their "newest stud" or that he has "sired at least 2 litters already"? I see you have posted numerous complaints about a number breeders - is that your employment? If you'd like to add another complaint to your to-do list, I would invite you to visit Rose Lane Kennels in Kemp, Texas. That was my bad breeder experience, and there is no comparison between that breeder and Legacy.
I disagree with all the mean and negatitive comments about Lea. I purchased my dog carly from her when she was sixteen weeks old. Lea has been nothing but helpful during the entire buying process. Carly is now 8 and a half months old and lea still keeps in contact with me frequently via email. I decided to drive instead of putting my puppy on a plane and lea was so kind to meet me half way, which she drove a total of 8 hours to and from the meeting spot that day. Carly is as healthy as can be and lea bought her a collar, leash, toys, blue buffalo puppy food to keep her on the same food as she was already used to so carly didnt get an upset stomach. I sent my papers in to AKC and did not have any difficulty recieving them. Anytime i take my dog for walks or car rides, etc. i have compliments on how beautiful she is and what a great temperment she has. Dont believe everything u hear it is such nonsense in my opinion and i have posted other comments before on my buying experience from lea. I would not think twice to buy from her again she would be my first and only choice. Kat
Wow.. I am really hoping these statements about Lea are not true...if so I could have trouble ahead as I just sold her 2 puppies. This is why I hate dealing with other breeders with my puppies. However, she went on and on about how she hates puppy mills, how the dogs stay in the house at all times, and really showed a true love for her dogs. I'm hoping and praying that this is true. We want our babies to go to loving pet homes which is the ONLY reason I gave her full registration. I never sell on full registration because, frankly, I do not trust breeders. Most are all about the money. I truly love my dogs and they are a part of the family. Dog breeding is what I have chosen as my primary career (I am only 19 years old) because I simply love it so much. Anyway, just hoping Lea is everything she said she is!
I wish I found this sooner. I would run far far away from this so called breeder/pet owner. They go under many names as mentioned. beware!

I will say...responsible, honest, compassionate, really love and respect his profession as a breeder; respect the customer showing interest and care; one that never forget to follow up contacting the new owners to give the best advices; the one that it is there when you really need her the most...when a time of sadness hit the life of your beloved dog...the beautiful puppy that we got from her kennel almost 2 years ago. Our beloved, beautiful Jasmine, a female Golden Retriever, was under a routine health check up making sure that everything was fine and getting her updates health care. This was just routine...but...it turned that her veterinarian brought to us the terrible news that Jasmine was sick...HEART WORMS were devastating her beautiful system. It can't be! Jasmine is coming from a high qualify responsible breeder, and we are very responsible owners keeping her under heart worm medication religiously every month. More test were done and the devastating new was positive. Immediately we contacted Leah, Jasmine's breeder, to let her know about this sad news. The medication that we were giving to Jasmine did not protected her from this devastating disease. Jasmine was intervened through a very painful and high risk treatment. Her life was in danger. Lea was with us every step giving us support and comfort, and making sure that Jasmine was receiving the right treatment but, above of everything... she was there to pray and let us know that Jasmine will fight this terrible disease. Don't believe what you hear or read from Debbie Kern, Adrienne Wilder, & Rushell Profenno as they are all in cahoots with each other and have nothing else better to do with their time than to slander others, untrue stories and gossip that travels fast...
Not True, how does somebody create an email themselves when it was made and dent with day and time on it showing i t was sent, and the lawyer as well as other parties have this too that was sent to them as well, including AKC.
Debbie Kern has been at this for 4 months...read her emails...she is going to be hell after us for buying a dog from another party that did not use her so called Godly looking dogs as she states, and they used Honors instead, SO SHE GOT MAD!
What is untrue statements posted on the internet about us and our site from Debbie Kern and her show buddy Adrienne Wilder (which her husband is Dr Evil that owns breederscorner.net and can put anything on the site that they wish, should not effect us as we now have endorsements in our goldens and our puppies coming soon!
It's obvious that the so-called email from Debbie Kern to Rushell Profenno was created by Lea Winkler herself. The language, capitalization, and spelling errors are consistent with the other 2 posts from "Frosty Paw".

Untrue statements from original breeder on this dog...Look what she emails to others about what she did to us after we bought the dog from a second party, NOT HER HERSELF! This will tell you and show you yourself how the real Debbie Kern is, BE CAREFUL.
Also to Clarify...WE ARE NOT A KENNEL AT ALL WHATSOEVER! We are Proud Pet Owners, is what we are, and Good People too, with morals, and DON'T slander others too...which GOOD people are hard to find these days.

Attached is a copy of the two page AKC registration papers, look you can clearly see that I used white out to change the limited registration box and white out the name, even though I did the white out on the Limited box when I first sold her to Leanna and Jay Winkler and initial it clearly by drawing the arrow, and I also gave them a Bill Of Sale allowing them to buy Sydney with Full Registration at the $2000.00 for which they paid. I am the one that drew the arrow from my signature on using our kennel name to the note I had wrote regarding the removal of the limited registration. I fooled AKC too by lying to them to where they would believe me just because I am so pissed off that my dog was not offered back to me and sold to another family member in that household that they share in AZ and NC. The only reason why I am lying to AKC on this is because the fact that Leanna and Jay Winkler DID NOT use my kennel name is what really pissed me off for having puppies to carry my kennel name down the line on pedigrees and is now the reason I faked out AKC not to give this party Full Registration even though she was really fully intended to have it by me originally in the first place. SO I AM SO HAPPY I ###ED ALL THOSE PEOPLE IN THAT FAMILY ALL BECAUSE THEY DID NOT USE MT SHOW KENNEL NAME THAT WAS IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT. Honor's name is not to boom on pedigrees as my is to be SHOWSTOPPER'S THAT WAS TO GENERATE MY GODLY LOOKING DOGS. Also, it really pissed me off when Leanna and Jay sold her to Lea which is their relatives as I don't give a dam because I was to get this dog back and not be sold. I am so happy that I ###ed all the Winkler's on the sale of Sydney because YES they did pay Full Registration price for her and YES I did provide them a Bill Of Sale that this dog is to be registered with having intended to be FULL REGISTRATION. THEY ARE ALL ###ED AND AKC BELIEVED MY LIES!
