Stroman was supposed to sell my Florida timeshare for me if I paid them $489.00 up front and also a commission on the final selling price. I originally listed it with them on August 26, 2000. It is currently January 31, 2010 and I still haven't heard a single word from them. I guess I'm just another sucker that's out the money.

You say you haven't had a "single word" from the timeshare resellers since you listed your timeshare with the company.
Do you mean to tell the readers of this Web site that from 8/26/200 through 1/31/2010 you have not spoken to the realtors?
Or received a reply via e-mail?
Have you gone to their office?
That is just totally SILLY. 10 years have passed with not a single reply. Why did you wait 10 years to follow up? I too got "suckered" into a time-share resale program a few years ago. Therefor, I feel your pain and frustration. I just recently received an offer from Sierra Club through Velas Vallata to sell my week. The only PROBLEM is they want $995.00 to make the sale happen.
I can not afford to be "suckered" in a second time.
EVERY ONE Please Be Very Careful when dealing with ANY of these "Resale" companies.
Burn me once shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me.
Best Of Luck To All Mr. D
Unfortunately these were the very people who took me for a spin. I figured they were "well known" and so safer to go with (and I was burned once before), but after a few years of total silence from them, I called, only to be told they were sincerely sorry and would keep in contact every few months. You can guess that it isn't the case.
I found out that I may be able to donate my timeshare to a university. I hope so, and good riddance. I will keep you all posted.
