In the period of approximately Oct - Dec 2022 Emerald Lawns provided a rather expensive ($80 per application) exterior of house pest control service against insects. After 2 applications, each a few weeks apart, I disturbingly discovered I had an exacerbated ant problem in my main bathroom tied to their outside mitigation process. I had so many dead ants around my toilet (they came in from a tiny hole in the caulk) that it appeared my floor was covered with black sand. After vacuuming the dead ants more showed up in the same volume in a few days. This was highly embarrassing for me and my house guests to see.
I contacted Emerald Lawns about the NEW insect problem since their service started, and they told me it was not their fault in addition to explaining to me that to fix the new ant problem, I’d have to order an additional inside pest service.
Rather Upset now, I canceled my 20 yr long lawn fertilizer contract with them and told E.L. I won’t pay for any more service that actually made my problem worse. I’ve already paid $160 for 2 applications. However, ELawns continues to send me a bill for the service even though I told them to stop after it caused large, never before ant infestations in my house
