This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

I purchased a living furniture set last year from Eldorado Furniture. Within months, the furniture buttons began to pop off. I called Eldorado and they sent someone to sew the button back on under the 1 year warranty. More buttons continue to pop of up to about 6 buttons within the 1 year warranty. The furniture was rarely sat on so the damage was not due to anything happening in the home so clearly the furniture was delivery damaged but not damaged that could be seen. I am now told that corporate has decided that I can either choose to another selection, but would have to pay for delivery, 7% of the sale price which would most likely be over an additional $500.00. Or request replacement of what I already have but the furniture will not be covered of the button pop off. I am also told that I have 1 week to decide which in in 2 days. Why am I expected to pay more money for furniture I already paid in full, almost $5000.00, that I expected to last for more than a few months without damage. They are standing by their rule of the furniture was delivered not damaged. When it is on record that I call within months of purchase that the buttons began to pop off. I am being encouraged by the staff to reselect. If I do, I would be out of more money because the prices for all of the furniture including what I purchased last year is now much more and there would be commission on the sale. I feel cheated and disrespected as a customer with no power against a large profitable business like this Eldorado. Their furniture is not cheap and I thought by paying this amount I was getting quality furniture or at least they would stand behind the quality of their products and do right by the customer. Eldorado did submit a claim to the manufacturer and it was denied. Which is proof that they agreed the furniture came to them damaged. I believe that because they lost the claim, they refuse to take the lost and dump the lost to me, the customer. I am devastated because I feel powerless as a consumer at this point. I am not asking for anything more than what I paid for, quality furniture that would last for more than a few months before falling apart apart. Please help me with this.

Desired outcome: At this point I feel that it is fair to me to have the living room furniture I purchased, that was clearly damaged but not visable already when delivered, replace with the one year warranty given upon purchase.
