Edgenet has been abusing both its workers and its employees for years. Taking

For a while, it was the exclusive provider for any manufactorer wanting to do business with Home Depot or Lowes. It exploited that to overcharge thousands of vendors to the tune of millions, and providing dismissal services. THe error rate of its data service was high, and sustomer calls were not picked up nor returned for weeks. In addition, it was trying to actively help other online businesses compete with these two giant retailers. The board kept giving Tom Frderick big bonuses.

Both Home Depot and Lowes decided to replace Edgenet with either home built services or other providers within a short time to each other. In place of apologizing, CEO Tom Frederick chose to sue the Home Depot alleging it violated Edgenet's copyright and other IP rights for using a software which was built to custom requirements for the Home Depot, and data collected from Home Depot's vendors!

Fortunately, the justice was finally served when Edgenet lost its initial law suit in a federal court. Being arrogant, Edgenet followed up with an appeal, as well as several claims in a state suit. Edgenet has also been losing its employees by hoards, who complain of long hours, no benefits, and in some cases, unwelcome sexual advances by the senior management.

Edgenet received a further blow of the Big Hammer when the Seventh Circuit decided in favor of Home Depot that the home improvement and construction goods retailer did not infringe upon Edgenet’s copyright.

Edgenet CEO Tom Frederick's continues to have clandestine affairs with female staff members - several attractive and accomodating female staffers saw an accelerated and spectacular rise through the management ladder because of their ability to participate in extra credit activities with Tom.
