EASY GRANT SUCCESS - MULTIPLE COMPANY NAME
AKA: Network AGENDA.COM
AKA: Various other easy profit advertising

REAL NAME: RAVEN MEDIA
REAL LOCATION: LAS VEGAS, NV

IF you have already been charged on your bank card or credit card...call your bank immediately to have these diputed. Please report them to your states internet fraus division. Since they are doing this through the internet...suggest filing an FBI fraud report. If enough of you do this they can be stopped.

They occasionally will say they made a mistake...how do they mistakenly charge your card from a company name you didnt authorize access to your card? they do it by passing you around within thier umbrella of company names ...under one master company (Raven media).

If you do nothing...they will keep taking money from your accounts! This is big money...dont let them win!
Good luck...if you call thier overseas answering lines...that just stalls you! Call your bank and get this started!

This company illegally bills consumers for products which were never ordered. they get your bank card/credit card from a pool of other slime bags that sell rip off / self help / work at home type of products. Once you order form one of them they pass your info around. They then start charging bogus $ charges on your account...for things you did not authorize.

This company "Easy Grant Success" is also run by the same Ryan who rips you off from a company called "Network Agenda.com"
You may see those charges showing up soon to.

I suggest you report him to your states anti fraud unit, perhaps the FBI since he is doing this interstate. Print out your charges from the bank, tell the bank you are contesting the charges, and save any documentation. They obviously have your one card info, but if enough witnesses report them the law will take notice.
I would also suggest you ask for a new card from your bank with a new number...that will stop the passing of these numbers.

I ordered a grant cd from this company and since then i have had an abundance of charges to my banking check card. Each transaction has a different company attached to it.
Such companies are: easy grant success, easy grant finder, network agenda, business funding, ine grant search, fin. Ed. Ame, discover enterprises, etc.
I want these to stop, i know how to do that. But how to get my money back is another thing.

I want these people stopped.
It's already costing me almost 500$!

I got the "free" CD which was pretty well useless. Then when my credit card statement came I was charged $39.95 AND $7.95 for services I didn't want. PLUS this is a monthly charge! I called to cancel and they did, but would NOT refund my money. I feel they should refund all of my money. this is a total scam.

For Release: 12/22/2010
FTC Charges Massive Internet Enterprise with Scamming Consumers Out of Millions Billing Month-After-Month for Products and Services They Never Ordered
Defendants Allegedly Created 51 Shell Companies to Carry Out Deception
The Federal Trade Commission is taking legal action against a far-reaching Internet enterprise that allegedly has made millions of dollars by luring consumers into “trial” memberships for bogus government-grant and money-making schemes, and then repeatedly charging them monthly fees for these and other memberships that they never signed up for. The FTC seeks to stop the illegal practices and make the defendants pay redress to consumers and give up their ill-gotten gains.
“No consumer should be sucker-punched into making payments for products they don’t know about and don’t want, ” said FTC Chairman Jon Leibowitz.
The FTC’s complaint alleges that the defendants offer consumers bogus money-making and government-grant opportunities. They claim that the offers are “free” or “risk-free, ” and that they will charge customers only a small shipping and handling fee.
According to the FTC’s complaint, the operation, doing business under the name I Works and controlled by Jeremy Johnson and nine other individuals, uses websites that tout the availability of government grants to pay personal expenses or pitch various money-making programs. The websites offer “free” information at no risk and ask consumers to provide their credit or debit card numbers to pay for a small shipping and handling fee such as $1.99. When consumers provide their billing information, though, I Works proceeds to charge them hefty one-time fees of up to $129.95 and monthly recurring fees of up to $59.95 for the grant or money-making programs. I Works charges them additional monthly fees for one or more unrelated programs that consumers did not agree to.
The FTC’s complaint alleges that this scheme has caused hundreds of thousands of consumers to seek chargebacks – reversals of charges to their credit cards or debits to their banks accounts. The high number of chargebacks has landed the defendants in VISA’s and MasterCard’s chargeback monitoring programs, resulted in millions of dollars in fines for excessive chargebacks, and prevented the defendants from getting access to the credit card and debit card billing systems using their own names. To keep the scam going, the defendants tricked banks into giving them continued access to these billing systems by creating 51shell companies with figurehead officers, and by providing the banks with phony “clean” versions of their websites.
The FTC has charged the defendants with violating the FTC Act by misrepresenting that government grants are available for paying personal expenses, that consumers are likely to obtain grants by using the defendants’ program, that users of their money-making products will earn substantial income, and that their offers are free or risk-free. The complaint also alleges that defendants failed to disclose that consumers who pay a nominal shipping and handling fee will be enrolled in expensive plans that charge consumers fees until they cancel, and that the defendants charged consumers’ credit cards and debited their bank accounts without their consent.
In addition, the FTC alleges that defendants posted deceptive positive reviews and used deceptive testimonials that misrepresented the benefits of their grant services. Finally, the FTC has charged the defendants with violating the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E by debiting consumers’ bank accounts without their signed written consent and without providing consumers with a copy of the written authorization.
As alleged in the complaint, the defendants gained access to the Visa and MasterCard systems through many entities. The banks included Wells Fargo, N.A., HSBC Bank USA, First Regional Bank, Harris National Association, and Columbus Bank and Trust Company. The payment processors the defendants used included First Data, ECHO, Global Payment Systems, Litle & Co., Moneris, Payment Tech, Trident, and Vital, as well as independent sales organizations, including CardFlex, RDK Inc., Merchant eSolutions, Pivotal Payments, PowerPay, and Swipe Merchant Solutions.

The FTC complaint names 10 individuals, 10 corporations, and 51 shell companies as defendants. As alleged in the complaint, the lynchpin of the enterprise is Jeremy Johnson, the sole owner and officer of I Works Inc., which has done business under numerous names. The FTC’s complaint names Johnson and nine other individual defendants: Duane Fielding; Andy Johnson; Loyd Johnston; Scott Leavitt; Scott Muir; Bryce Payne; Kevin Pilon; Ryan Riddle; and Terrason Spinks. In addition, the 10 corporate defendants are: I Works Inc.; Anthon Holdings Corp.; Cloud Nine Marketing Inc.; CPA Upsell Inc.; Elite Debit Inc.; Employee Plus Inc.; Internet Economy Inc.; Market Funding Solutions Inc.; Network Agenda LLC; and Success Marketing Inc.
The 51 shell companies named in the complaint are Big Bucks Pro Inc., Blue Net Progress Inc., Blue Streak Processing Inc., Bolt Marketing Inc., Bottom Dollar Inc., doing business as BadCustomer.com, Bumble Marketing Inc., Business First Inc., Business Loan Success Inc., Cold Bay Media Inc., Costnet Discounts Inc., CS Processing Inc., Cutting Edge Processing Inc., Diamond J. Media Inc., Ebusiness First Inc., Ebusiness Success Inc., Ecom Success Inc., Excess Net Success Inc., Fiscal Fidelity Inc., Fitness Processing Inc., Funding Search Success Inc., Funding Success Inc., GG Processing Inc., GGL Rewards Inc., Highlight Marketing Inc., Hooper Processing Inc., Internet Business Source Inc., Internet Fitness Inc., Jet Processing Inc., JRB Media Inc., Lifestyles For Fitness Inc., Mist Marketing Inc., Money Harvest Inc., Monroe Processing Inc., Net Business Success Inc., Net Commerce Inc., Net Discounts Inc., Net Fit Trends Inc., Optimum Assistance Inc., Power Processing Inc., Premier Performance Inc., Pro Internet Services Inc., Razor Processing Inc., Rebate Deals Inc., Revive Marketing Inc., Simcor Marketing Inc., Summit Processing Inc., The Net Success Inc., Tranfirst Inc., Tran Voyage Inc., Unlimited Processing Inc., and Xcel Processing Inc.
The Commission vote to file the complaint was 5-0. The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.
NOTE: The Commission authorizes the filing of a complaint when it has “reason to believe”
that the law has been or is being violated, and it appears to the Commission that a proceeding is in the public interest. The complaint is not a finding or ruling that the defendants have actually violated the law.
The Federal Trade Commission works for consumers to prevent fraudulent, deceptive, and unfair business practices and to provide information to help spot, stop, and avoid them. To file a complaint in English or Spanish, visit the FTC’s online Complaint Assistant or call 1-877-FTC-HELP [protected]). I, too, ordered what I thought was a one time charge of $2.99 for an "Easy Grant" CD. I was charged, later, a whopping $75.77 for WHAT? Yes, I did receive the CD, but that was all I asked for. I did not expect anything else. My husband was laid off at his job last February & we're struggling just to keep our home, and put a meger portion of food on our table. My husband showed me our bank statement and was outraged! He felt betrayed & felt I had added to our pain & already depressed situation. We came to them for help! How could these people betray and abuse people who are already in serious situations! We trusted them & believed in them. It's theft, of course. How many victims are there? Hundreds, thousands? We need our money back. That was our electric bill, and money for food.

I ordered the cd Aug. 10th, as of Aug. 30th I still have not received the disk. The sh/hand fee has been taken from my account but still no product. After reading some of the other complaints and the rebuttal of someone from the company it looks as though my 7 day trial period is up, believe me they will not be getting anymore money from my account, glad I read these before the month was up. I feel real sorry for the others who got charged for something they did not receive or ordered.

I also made an order for information on government grants, I indicated in both places listed before ordering and indicated I did not want the additional offers. My wife received a call and was told the offers were being sent and that I could simply not accept them and I would not be charged. I just found a charge for $30.00 on my bank account for one of the offers. I have left a message on the voice mail of Mr. Ryan Riddle however he has not called me back. This is a destressing and deceptive business practice in my openion. Theft is theft, and this is theft.

Update to the above. Ryan R's reply to a message emailed to ryanr@wskc.org (with the same wording as his comment above) was sent from the mailserver at iworks.com.

His full name is Ryan Riddle, and the CEO is Jeremy Johnson, whose name I've seen in connection with Alan Dunn of SmartNet Development. The street address of iWorks is 249 East Tabernacle, St. George, UT 84770, Tel [protected]. Ryan's email address is given as ryanriddle@iworks.com.

I imagine messages sent to ryanr@wskc.org aren't even read, but replied to by an autoresponder. Try contacting him directly by mailing, phoning or emailing him at iWorks.

Raven Media and a related company, SmartNet Development, are part of a network of internet scams. They operate a staggering number of interlinked websites involving direct marketing, clickthrough reward programs, spam and distribution of personal details such as email addresses and account numbers.

The set up is actually very clever as they get revenue from every level of the chain.

Joe Citizen hands over his credit card number for 'shipping ' a get rich quick CD seen on the net and finds unauthorized monthly charges appearing on his statement.

SmartNet Development markets the websites selling the CDs to wannabe internet entrepreneurs. Each has a different domain name and front page, but all have the same disclaimer, giving a contact address and phone number of a virtual office in Las Vegas.

Joe Citizen's details are onsold to spammers and owners of the other CD websites. They in turn pay for advertising on the websites of 'affiliate' companies, who pay to belong to the partnership of websites driving visitors to each others' sites.

The vertical marketing system has another twist. Rewards are offered to people for signing up for a series of free trial subscriptions at the above websites. If they reach a target number, say 40, they win a plasma TV or laptop. Again, their details are onsold. Participating companies pay per clickthrough and per transaction. Rewards are popular with students who have time to make repeated phone requests for cancellation before the trial period ends, or who learn to work the system by cancelling their cards before charges are made.

I understand Raven Media sold this brilliant concept to the company who run Google PageAds. They've built this empire without disclosing any staff names, email addresses (other than bogus) or physical street address.

I'm aware of this because customer debit and credit card statements are cunningly attributed to merchant names very similar to reputable businesses such as mine, who daily receive emails demanding refunds and threatening legal action.

Don't believe a word of Ryan R's assurances - as K Joseph says, it's just a stalling tactic. I urge every victim of the purpetrators of this shameless fraud to lodge a chargeback with their card issuer, and to report them to the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.gov.

However, there is a bonus free trial period to membership websites that accompanies the free CD and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated 4 times throughout the ordering process - on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation, it is then also explained in the 1st paragraph of the Terms and Conditions of the offer. We offer the trial periods to give our clients a chance to use the service and see the value of it for themselves before they are billed for it. The trial periods are free for 7-30 days from the order date depending on which bonuses apply. We would not have charged you had you called customer service and canceled during the trial period. It is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership after the free trial offer. That is why we have the Terms and Disclosures are posted on the sales site directly above or below the "Ship My Kit" Button depending on the site you order from.

I think this company is also a scam. I ordered the $1.99 cd also. I just got an overdraft charge from my bank. This company charged me the 39.95. I have also did a complaint with the IC3 people.
I hope this business goes under; that is not right what they are doing to people. I just wish there was a phone number listed for this scam site. Did you notice that?

You can email me on your thoughts. My name is Mysty I'm at: mystyblu1@att.net
