I purchased of a 2007 Lexus IS 250 from David "Frank" Fuzailov of Dunlap Auto Sales in Phoenix, Arizona. Shortly after acquiring the vehicle, the check engine light illuminated within minutes of driving it off the lot. Despite my immediate attempts to contact Mr. Fuzailov and provide photographic evidence of the issue, there was a lack of responsiveness on his part.

Communication with Mr. Fuzailov regarding scheduling service for the vehicle was met with delays and evasiveness. Additionally, further issues with the vehicle came to light, including discrepancies in the odometer reading compared to what was documented in the contract. When I brought this matter to Mr. Fuzailov's attention, his response was unprofessional and aggressive, demanding the return of the vehicle.

In light of safety concerns, drivability issues and contractual inaccuracies, I proposed a resolution that would address the vehicle's issues and ensure the correction of the contract or a refund of the $3000 down payment made in cash. Mr. Fuzailov's responses were vague and indecisive, prolonging the resolution process.

Subsequent attempts to communicate with Mr. Fuzailov on May 24 were met with delays, culminating in a distressing situation with a repossession truck arriving at the vehicle. After intervention and clarification of ongoing communication, Mr. Fuzailov assured me of a refund in the presence of the repossession team, which regrettably was not honored.

Despite repeated attempts to follow up for the retrieval of the down payment, including a final inquiry on June 6, Mr. Fuzailov responded in an explicit unprofessional and derogatory manner. As a single mother of four, the financial impact of this situation has been substantial, as the down payment entrusted to Dunlap Auto Sales for a vehicle that was never received remains unresolved.

The lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by Mr. Fuzailov and Dunlap Auto Sales is deeply concerning and disturbing.

Claimed loss: $3000 cash stolen plus cost of gas and time to drive the distance to purchase the vehicle

Desired outcome: I would like my money back and for Frank Fuzailov and Dunlop Autosales to face consequences for their actions.
