Do not purchase any services from Dr. William Greenstadt. He claims to be able to treat or help people with various mental health disorders. However, he is unable to act in accordance with his own alleged teachings and appears to be mentally unstable.

In his free time, Dr William Greenstadt involves himself in conspiracy to sabotage another hard working American's business online. At the behest of fellow Dr Mia Lancaster, he has intentionally bid on severall items from a friend of mine on ebay. Dr. (and I use this term loosely for both of these crackpot psychologists) Mia Lancaster has a history of causing trouble with people on eBay (google Dr.Mia52 or Mia Lancaster ebay scam for more info). One of "Dr" Mia Lancaster's many enemies' on eBay appears to have gotten under her skin enough where she asked her other Psychologist friend "Dr" William Greenstadt to bid on my friend's eBay account JUST to post negative feedback and file multiple complaints.

Ask yourself, would you ask for mental help from a "Dr" who would involve himself in such childish games?

My friend sent "Dr" William Greenstadt the following email post sale to make sure he was a satisfied with his order. Here was her message:

"I wanted to check in on you and make sure you received your order ok. I have not heard from you since the order arrived. I do not mean to bother you. I am new to selling on ebay and I want to make sure you were happy with your purchase. If you were, would you please leave positive feedback and 5 out of 5 stars? I'm working really hard to build my ebay business and I would really appreciate it. If there is some reason you believe I don't deserve a good rating, please let me know that as well. I want to hear your input. Thanks and have a great day!"

William Greenstadt replies with the following:

"Seller:
The magazine arrived THREE weeks after I paid for it and it reeks of mildew and is torn, neither of which you described in your listing. I am not happy with this transaction. Three weeks is just too long to be waiting for an item to be sent & received within New York City limits. I also do not appreciate your dictating what I should say in my feedback.
williamg9586"

Clearly, this response causes concern. William had a tracking number the whole time and knows the delay was from the post office. Now, he starts making crazy claims about the magazine "reeking of mildew". Notice in the future responses how he won't return the magazine and is not interested in resolving anything. He just wants to cause problems. My friend's next email:

"Would you like to exchange the magazine for another one? I do not recall any smells that were out of the ordinary. All magazines that are 60 years old will smell old. I did take a look at the shipment information and it looks like the post office screwed up the delivery. You are right. We are in the same area and yet they had it misdirected to California. If you are unhappy with your order I am happy to fix it. Just let me know."

Obviously, this is a very professional email. Look at the nonsensical and borderline pscychotic email Dr. William Greenstadt sent in response:

"I don't believe your apparently earnest email. I therefore checked your FB and found a number of buyers who complained about slow delivery. You pretended the delay in my case was unique but according to your DSRs you are customarily very slow in shipping. I also found that you have other unhappy buyers who received items Not As Described. For example, buyer "tedkennedy" gave you NEG FB and wrote "Very difficult ... use caution." I checked that buyer's FB and it is 100% positive.

Buyer "dr.mia52" gave you NEG FB and described a magazine in very poor condition. You offer eBay members-at-large, "Email me for a list of lies by this crazy ebayer." What is this list? I checked that buyer's FB and it too is 100% positive, so I am very interested to receive your "list of lies" by that "crazy ebayer." You impugn the truthfulness of your buyers which further conditioned me to disbelieve you. Your shocking lack of courtesy further increased my suspicions of the honesty of your assurances.

Are you accustomed to being allowed do-overs? I did not expect to have to wait a month for a magazine to come from a seller in my own town only to be offered a flimsy excuse about the post office. When I described my dissatisfaction with the long shipping time and the reek of mildew, you responded "all magazines smell old." I am a collector and I assure you that all magazines do NOT reek of mildew. I just bought science fiction magazines from the 40s that arrived with no odor in nearly mint condition as reflected in the FB I left for those sellers who live throughout the country. In addition to the other defects of the magazine you sold me, the binding was loose and the inside story pages fell out.

The lack of confidence that you induced in me about your integrity as a seller forces me to approach any "do-overs" with a great deal of dubiousness. I believe that I would again have to wait a month before receiving a substitute, and, therefore, I plan to leave Not As Described FB."

William Greenstadt followed through on his threat and ebay closed his dispute and didn't hold my friend responsible. That made William Greenstadt flip and begin leaving retaliatory negative feedbacks on my friend's account. Ebay is a professional company and they did the right thing and removed Dr William Greenstadt's negative comments and restricted his account on ebay.

Does this end it for the doctor? NO! He then goes on to file FALSE POLICE REPORTS. with the New York Police Department and begins spreading crazy lies. Contact Detective Grogan, Midtown South precinct, case # [protected]. None of this has been made up and Detective Grogan will be happy to take any other reports of insane behavior by Dr. William Greenstadt.

This doctor is absolutely crazy. Stay far aware from this doctor. His matchbook psychology is a ripoff. He is a fraud and con artist since he cannot live by what he teaches.

Just so there is no confusion with any other Doctors. His New York License is 002936

Caveat Emptor!

The first response by him seemed super reasonable and the “demands” that u claimed he had. I’ve been using eBay for years and it doesn’t take a professional to know that 3 weeks is an insanely long time to wait for something u want. I order online all the time and it te order takes 2 weeks I’m outraged lol

The person selling could’ve been a lot smarter and reached out to the buyer once they got tracking number. This way the blame is on the post office. This should be within 24 hours of receiving payment. But hey, that’s just how I operate my eBay account and I have a near perfect rating.

Take it as a lesson learned.
