I were involved a no fault accident and referred my attorney a chiropractor, she advised I not disclose. I then were referred by Dr. Womack to see a neurologist / psychiatrist named Dr. Prusinksi.
I suffered neck, back and head injury. On my first visit to Dr. Prusinski, I were offered injections in my back to relieve pain or medication. No x-rays or other diagnostic testing occurred at that point. I requested Xrays or an MRI of Dr. Womack who conceded the Xray and less expensive to exhaust PIP but where soft tissue is more difficult to ascertain and hence the report states un-remarkable.
On my second visit under a letter of protection both doctors but with Dr. Prusinksi, I were to under go a leg nerve testing, I had already stated were in appropriate. In arriving, I refused he still intended on performing anyway also claiming thin wire inserted into your skin does not hurt. I left that visit with a referral in my request of an MRI and was also given a prescription for more pain medication but with an alternative where the apap affects my stomach. He prescribed a non narcotic Tramadol, I did not fill as of yet in slowly using the Hydrocodone he and the ER provided.
In it having to take nearly a month to be treated like an accident victim over others profit, I elected not to have my Geico Insurance pay testing and were I were already healing naturally along the Chiropractic care from Dr. Womack.
Dr. Prusinksi is arrogant and demeans his patients in stating it were not my concern to have him reply question of my own health but where I understand he need to be chastised!
I would like a follow up emailed letter regarding Dr. Prusinksi of his behaviors and intentional mistreatment of a patient for overhead inclusive his race car hobby.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Under investigation for insurance fraud. Billing for unnecessary procedures.
Dr Prusinski is an arrogant man who orders tests before even pursuing other lesser treatments. He doesn’t consider what the Auto insurance companies will pay for, even though he accepts PIP, and therefore has plenty of experience with them. If you question his decisions, he will not discuss it with you. He will refuse to see you. On top of that, he will refer you to the university clinic, hardly a place to send someone in pain. Save yourself from this narcissistic person.
Dr. Prusinski was very courteous and took the time to explain any questions I had. His Emg study was painless and quick. I was very relaxed and assured of what was going on at all times. The Trigger point injections given were very helpful. I would highly recommend Dr Prusinski not only fir his bedside manner but his history and expertise. I will continue to seek his medical help and recommend him to all my associates and family!
MADE ME SIGN THAT I WAS TREATED BEFORE I ACTUALLY WAS! if i had known that i wasnt going to be treated like a human being at all, id have never gone. if only i had read some of these reviews before i went..I gave Dr Prusinski a packet of 3 years worth of medical history. ALL the information i had regarding my case. He started removing papers out of it and telling me the board certified tests were invalid and that he wanted to run his own. he had 12 or so mri's at his fingertips and he didnt look at them. i felt extremely violated i the creepiest way when he was "checking" my body for "something" which he wouldnt explain i almost fell over to get away from him when i asked if he was done he shhh'd me and didnt stop then said "very good" under his breath. ive got the creeps again just remembering it. then to add insult to injury, he would ask me questions and more often than not, if i wasnt cut off mid-sentence by him and then not allowed to finish, made condescending faces and told me what i was telling him wasnt the issue. one of his last comments before leaving the room after not answering my questions on what treatment would be replied, "oh, we have A LOT of work to do on you" i will do everything i can to never have to return to see this "dr" ive seen a LOT of drs throughout my life, no one ever touched me or creeped me out the way he did.
