Dixon’s Auctions Richmond review: I would like my refund of $21.89.

I have participated in several online auctions with this business. On July 6, 2022 I participated in one of their auctions and won 2 items for a total of $21.89.

On July 7 I received a notice from the business that the charge to my credit card was denied and I must either follow their link and pay or pay cash when I picked up the items. I called them to discuss my options and decided to follow their link and pay.

On July 12 I checked my credit card statement and saw that there were two exact charges on July 7. So i spoke to the business staff and they advised me to send proof to Mr. Dixon in an email. So I copied my invoice, a copy of my credit card statement that showed the double charge and explained what had happened. The next day I was in the business and asked them to check that they had received my email. The checked with Mr. Dixon and located my email. He stated that I should expect to see my refund the next Tuesday July 19.

I did not see any refund so I have called every week since that date and have constantly been assured that my refund will be issued. Again on August 18 I emailed Mr. Dixon again concerning this matter.

The amount is not that important as it is only for $21.89, however this is a matter of business integrity. It is more than 7 weeks since I was assured that a refund would be issued. This business owner seems to just want me to give up and allow him to keep my money.
