My daughter ordered a dress from DivaLifeUS for homecoming based off of recommendation videos from other girls on TikTok. It took 2 weeks to get the dress, and they sent the wrong dress. It was a week before homecoming, so we ended up having to buy another dress. I've been trying to get in touch with someone from the company for 5-6 weeks to get a refund and start the return process. I've emailed the company multiple times with the email address provided on the DivaLifeUS website, I've posted on their Contact Us page multiple times, and tried calling their phone number multiple times, but it's always busy. Today, October, 24, 2022, I tried to go to the website, and the website is no longer available. I went to the BBB website this morning to see if there have been complaints about this company, and there are a lot! So lesson learned that additional research needs to be done before placing an online order.
Please stay far away from this online site! Seems like a good site at first with tons of cute dresses from Windsor, some of which aren’t currently in stores, but online on this site. But don’t be fooled, this site is pretty much a scam.
I had a horrific experience when I ordered 2 dresses, which came out to $78 total. I received only one dress, and it wasn’t even one of the dresses I ordered, so that was the first red flag. I emailed them about that right away, and they just kept convincing me that I should try on this incorrect dress they sent and maybe I would like it, but never admitted to ever sending me the “wrong” dress.
I also never knew they weren’t a US or UK company, because when I emailed them to see their contact info, I saw they were based out of Hong Kong. There was no US number to call, which felt pretty sketchy.
They also said they understood my frustration and would offer me a partial refund for the other dress that never came, because it got “stuck in customs” they claimed. I asked why I couldn’t get a full refund, but that didn’t get me anywhere, even though I explicitly said I received the wrong dress, but they never took responsibility for that.
Then I thought I was getting ripped off as I never saw the refund or heard from them again, but eventually I did receive the partial refund they promised me. I asked again for a full one, as I didn’t want to have to write a bad review, and feel that they were a decent enough company for me to recommend friends and family too. But then they just disappeared after that email, no response.
So in conclusion, yes I got my partial refund, but no they never took responsibility for sending me a completely different dress, or ever responded again. STAY FAR AWAY. If you want to shop Windsor dresses, do it in store or online on their official site. This site was absolutely a fake, and just steal Windsor’s pictures, that’s probably why they couldn’t even send me the right dress or admit to any wrong doing.
Did you had to return the dress ? I order a dress for a wedding guest party this upcoming Saturday and order it the last or second to last week of
March and no update
