I Dimple Gyanchandani, one of your
loyal customers, would like to put across a complaint and requests you to
provide with a solution for the same.
On July 13th, 2016 I booked a flight after clarifying excess baggage
information with your customer service executive and following your
customer care executives details, which apparently I got to know is wrong
now, after speaking to another executive a couple of days back.
*PLEASE NOTE THE DETAILS OF WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED*.
Since it is my first trip overseas I wasn't sure of the baggage limit, etc.
I did think of booking an economy saver, but as my extra baggage was an
issue I decided to place a call to your customer service first before I
made a final decision.
I called up on one of the customer care numbers provided online,
+[protected]. While speaking a customer care executive I received
information about the extra baggage allowance. I told the executive about
the specific flight I was thinking of booking. I was told that I could
carry only one bag of 23kg along with 7kg hand bag. When I asked about
excess baggage service I was clearly informed that I can avail the facility
of pre booking extra baggage that I can chose while booking my ticket or
prior 24hr of departure. For the 2nd bag upto 23kg I will be charged
approximately (more than) Rs.8, 000 and the 3rd bag of upto 23kg
approximately Rs.11, 000. *After the information provided by your executive
I booked my ticket and also confirmed my booking when I received a
confirmation call from your end.*
My humble request to you would be
to continue the process exactly how I was directed earlier. As it is the
fault from your end, kindly bear the consequences. Sorry for the
inconvenience caused, if any.
