My wife and I have set on hold waiting for a pharmacy person on several different calls waiting as much as 45 minutes and then just giving up. We are steady customers that are about to change pharmacies. We will advertise on Nextdoor a community website and with our church located near the pharmacy. This is totally wrong. No customer should have to wait this long and then just give up. The last 3 unanswered calls were today.
CVS - hold time
I call CVS a few times a month. 
The hold time is sometimes 45 minutes 
Today was over 27 mins
Drive through time is also insane 30-50 mins 
Can something please be done about this?
Or maybe this is considered normal. 
I'm not sure. 
But I feel like I waste a significant amount or time here.
When we are in line inside the store we watch them pick up the phone and lay it down almost every visit, and go on with their day and ring out customers and walk to the drive through.
I can only assume that they want the caller to hang up out of frustration or simply running out of time and have to hang up.
Either way I am frustrated and I hope they can make some improvement in this area
