With reference to a Lenovo Device (Laptop) purchase from one of your retail outlets (Curry's, Hayes Bridge, Retail park, Hayes) 16/01/2022 and subsequently started to malfunction (Unresponsive, slow Startup mode, startup display logo randomly pin from photo album/files and could not be removed, and sign in not as I wanted half way during writing my password it would open) etc.), I visited the retailer /store support dept/counter of the Tottenham court road store :2805 Their I was told to my surprise that it would have to be sent to the store service center (as I believed that it could/should be rectified at the store counter.

On collecting it at the store from service center, after a brief examinmation I notice that the Excel application was missing from the start display menu, on further inspection/examination I notice that the all apps dropdown alphabetical order menu was missing Excel, words As the machine was design and purchase with these application, I pointed it to the Support Counter Staff, and Sales Manager, who advise/said that the device would have to be return to the service center for 21 days for them to be reinstated/rectified.

on collecting the device the issue still remained, I was told that I would have to contact Lenovo, I requested the Lenovo address in order to return the device to Lenovo as it was stated in the warranty process for obtaining service (first the retailer service dept, then Lenovo service center if unsuccessful at retailer) but was told and given the Lenovo telephone number

On contacting Lenovo I was informed that I would have to contact Microsoft support. On doing so the agent/administrator agreed that this device purchase with those applications in position (from details I supplied) and they should always be in position (as they was time limited with renewal subscription after one year etc.) and therefore he would supply/attempt them by Remotely/remoteness, after some time they appeared on the start display menu in a office package form (not in the all apps dropdown position, I was also unable to pin them into their respective position), which has/later time out requesting renewal of subscription

I have also notice that the Operating System display box (via settings >system) now states MGB-JAC8 instead as before Win 10/11, have not check/compared the bios version. as it may have been downgraded/change at the retailer service center (Stevenage).

As this device was first submitted for service/repairs under the warranty. please can we have this issue rectified and the device to its order of when it was purchase.[ A new Replacement of the same Model or a refund of the price of the device could be considered in resolving this dispute.

Desired outcome: A Satisfactory repair, Replacement with a new device, A refund.
