"smooth conman" is the phrase I would pick, You are met with a nice greeting, given an easy going sales pitch, some of the cars look in good condition at first glance but then you start to notice the details, cracked plastics, the odd damaged wheel, worn out gear levers, worn out seat bolsters.
No pre repairs are carried out unless you point them out before a sale is agreed, so test drive thoroughly! and make a note of what you have asked them to do.
Their car services are not to be trusted. I doubt their useless mechanic even does any work to these cars, as my oil was filthy when I bought the car and it was only serviced 12 miles ago.
The so called 12 month warranty that was part of the sale agreement turned out to be 6 months on the printed paperwork which was slyly hidden inside my document wallet.
when I collected the keys I noticed the car wasnt valeted as promised and their was bits of crap between the plastics near the gear lever, (any valeter would remove these) and it wasnt hoovered, the leather was dull and dry. and after I Left the forecourt and immediately noticed a problem i had brought up hadn't been repaired as promised. yet. he said the noise had been addressed. took it straight to main dealer who spotted the problem straight away to be a damaged tyre. (so called pre check inspection should of brought this up as the noise was very loud like a wheel bearing giving up)

While at the dealer i asked him to check the oil and air filter, air filter had been blown out with an air gun and definately was not new. it was black instead of yellow. Oil was old oil and not recently replaced. the wheels which should of been refurbished one was grey and not silver as it should of been,

After closer inspection main dealer spotted some other issues, such as a sticking folding mirror, Flat batteries in the key less entry key fobs, and tyre pressures were inconsistent all round.

nearly £9000 of car and it was given to a customer like this with a smile as well. I have noticed their warranty provider has changed so I wonder if they noticed this guy is relying on them to pick up his [censored] after sales service.

The mechani on site is useless, doesnt know a fart from a tornado.

So far the car to get it roadworthy has cost me a further £350 which on a £9k car shouldnt of cost £!

Sold me a trash car broke down on the day collected. Within a month rims cracked & needed replacing they wouldn't take responsibility. Within 3 months car would not start due to exhaust issues costing over £500. Got a full health check done works of over £2000 necessary all apparently present at sale. CWM would not take liability or even apologise. Absolutely horrible for money value & horrible customer relations. Liars & theives the lot.
