Croft & Barrow Orthlite review: Sandals breaking down

Based on a previous pair of Croft and Barrow sandals (after years and years of use I wore the soles through), I purchased this pair... I regret that purchase! After one year's use, this sandal is unwearable! The internal support of the heel of the sandal seems to be the sacrifice for cost savings - it is like walking on a 1/2"balance beam! The internal support of the heal is non-existent, with the exception of the 1/2" bar going down the center, and since a broken heel bone years back, I require complete support for my heels! Very disappointed with these and won't be purchasing Croft & Barrow any time soon...
