I started working for sunflower carriers back in 1999 then sunflower became Shaffer trucking which is owned Crete carrier corporation. I had to stop driving because I had kidney cancer. When you go to work for Crete carriers they make you buy a security lock so I hadn't returned the lock so I went to the Kansas City terminal and Kansas City Missouri in September 2021 and returned it. I hadn't heard anything from Crete so today I called payroll and asked them if they had reimbursed me for the lock I said there was nothing in the system that showed that I had returned the Lock. Then I called the Kansas City Missouri Crete terminal where I dropped off the security lock. The first person I talk to asked me what the serial number was on the security lock. I didn't think I had to have the security lock number plus I have been there so many years. Then he transferred me to another Woman and I left a message and she called me back. She told me that they couldn't reimburse me for a long walk because the Number didn't match the one I had purchased. So then I started asking some questions and this woman told me that she would lie on the form and she would send me a check out of her personal checking account to reimburse me for the lock. When you call the voice recording says The call may be monitored. Now I was thinking if they record the conversation and the woman at the Kansas City terminal said that she was going to lie on the form and send me a check out of our own checking account something smells fishy to me. I work for Crete for 20 years had very little problems there and I can't believe that they'd be so cheap to run a scam on the security lock.

Desired outcome: I don’t want anything from Crete They can keep the lock
