April 2024, I bought a Used 2022 Kia Telluride from Crain Kia of Fayetteville. A few months after purchasing I had to have a Strut replaced; it got bent before I had bought it and was pulling the car to the right. I had to argue with the Service Manager at the time to get the part replaced and they ended up keeping my car for a week because they didn't have the part AFTER calling me to tell me they had the part and made me an appointment to come in, not all of the pieces came in the replacement box. I should have known it was going to be a disaster after the front-end girl asked me, "Why are you here?"

Anyway, the most recent problem; In November of 2025 I had an accident (an animal hit). During the repairs of this accident some complications had occurred resulting in my vehicle being taken to Crain Kia. I was already bias due to prier problems with the same establishment. Crain Kia was asked to diagnose and fix the problem. The problem was my Catalytic Converter needed to be replaced from the animal hit. During this Kia claimed the CV Axel needed to be replaced because a bolt had "mushroomed" out and would be un-able to put the bolt back. The body shop had already test drove the vehicle, and nothing like this was wrong at that time, and no one could figure out how this Axel would have gotten damaged like this or WHY they had to drop this axel to get to the converter. NOTE: I did not run over the animal. I hit it and launched it away from my car. Kia was insisting Insurance to pay for this part to be fixed, which insurance denied multiple times and had found evidence that my vehicle had been in an accident in 2023 before I purchased the Telluride in 2024. During purchasing the vehicle, I had signed a document/Carfax that claimed this vehicle had not been in an accident or damages. Now I don't know if the Axel was damaged from the previous accident or if Kia messed it up taking this part off to replace the Converter. The part was not damaged before being put in Kia's hands, KIA should have taken responsibility and relaced the part. KIA did not, I ended up forking up $900 to have this part replaced and sent back to my Body Shop. I had the Body Shop give the vehicle a look over and report any damages that would back up this accident claims. They did find more damages to the Drivers back tire area, which is one of the areas hit in the pervious accident in 2023. I have approved and paid to have these damages replaced/fixed with another $852. This just adds proof/evidence that this vehicle was indeed been in another accident, and I was not told of this at the time of buying.
In 2024, I was charged for a Used 2022 Telluride with NO accidents and only 19,000 miles. IF I ever choose to trade in this Vehicle, not only has my accident lowered its value BUT this accident in 2023 has come to light and has lowered it even more! I am paying roughly $5,000 more for what this vehicle is actually worth.
