CPT Group Inc. review: Complaint

I believe CPT Group inc. or someone pretending to be them is scaming people out of their property and personal information including their Social Security number. The company claims to reissue checks from the State Controller Betty T. Yee with the State of California. They send out a letter that I have taken a picture of and uploaded below. I received this letter around 2/1/22 and looked up online with the State Controller and found my information regarding a check from a class action lawsuit from years ago that the State was holding. I followed the instructions and I was told they would issue my check at the end of June 22. Now they do not answer phone calls or emails. This company claims their contact info as address 50 Corporate Ave in Irvine California, phone number [protected], [protected] email SCO.CPTGROUPREISSUES.com
