John Christie = chief executive officer, city of Belmont 

My Absolute LAST Resort was to contact the Western Australia State politician ‘Cassie Rowe MLA being the so-called Irresponsible Member for the Belmont area’ in Perth, Western Australia... who like All Politicians did Absolutely Nothing... because WA state politician Casssie Rowe conduct and behaviour mirrors that She consistently is being "Weak and Incompetent and Spineless and Corrupt and a Compulsive Professional Liar and Cassie Role has absolute Zero Leadership attributes"!

Employees at the City of Belmont and I have been horrendously treated AND threatened multiple times by the City of Belmont CEO ‘John Christie’ for actually doing their jobs in raising legitimate safety issues in relation to the recently constructed City of Belmont Hub complex buildings.

The following personnel have ‘repeatedly’ displayed appalling AND disgusting behaviour AND consistent serious misconduct resulting in multiple Breaches of the WA Local Government Act.    Also, as part of penalties strongly recommended to be enforced, the following personnel should be removed from their respective roles with ‘immediate’ effect based on the serious nature of specifics examples I have outlined below that I have personally witnessed AND that I also been on the receiving end of mistreatment as a consequence of the following FIVE personnel ‘repeated lack of action’ AND ‘their attitudes’ toward ALL staff employees at the City of Belmont.

It should be noted in support of this submission, that there are very serious ‘staff retention’ issues at the City of Belmont (which Mayor Phil Marks did admit to me verbally) due to ‘disgruntled staff’ being fed up with ‘very incompetent’ and ‘very corrupt’ Senior management staff as well as Middle management staff at the City of Belmont.

The following personnel have ‘displayed & misconducted’ the following attributes   (with further examples specified below) that bring the City of Belmont ‘public image’ into disrepute as well as give the Perth AND Western Australia ‘image’ a bad name in the eyes of the public.

JOHN CHRISTIE = CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, CITY OF BELMONT

·        I had raised ALL the above specifics with reference to Mathew Smith AND Natasha Griggs AND Juliette Gillan conduct to Mr John Christie being the current CEO at City of Belmont

·        ‘John Christie’ indicated to me multiple times that he had NO intention in ‘resolving’ ANY of the above issues … as he claims the respective staff members indicated to him there was ‘nothing to resolve’

·        Also, this came across to me that this would involve ‘work’ for the CEO (i.e. actually doing his job) which seemed to be what he was trying to AVOID!

·        Mr Christie also attempted to indirectly ‘bully/intimidate/threaten’ me that if I continued to escalate issues as well as other City of Belmont staff conduct, hence, that my services would no longer be required at the City of Belmont

·        This confirms John Christie is NOT suitable to be the CEO at the City of Belmont

·        This confirms Mr Christie LACKS any Leadership attributes and LACKS the ability to 'solve problems' as he is ALWAYS armed with a ‘excuses’ only ….. and NOT armed with any Solution attributes whatsoever.

·        This confirms John Christie is corrupt AND incompetent AND does NOT know what he is doing

·        This confirms Mr Christie does NOT care and is NOT serving the community

·        John Christie should be removed from the CEO position effective immediately DUE TO HIS CONDUCT IS OF A 'BULLYING AND DICTATOR' STYLE MANNER towards Staff and Visitors, including towards myself

·        Mr Christie is completely fully aware of ALL of the above specific details (including additional notes in this correspondence) AND the multiple breaches by EACH of the respective Managers & Executives as outlined above,

·        However, CEO John Christie has made it very clear on multiple occasions that he 'chooses to do absolutely NOTHING' by deliberately NOT addressing NOR resolving ANY of above specified repeated 'misconduct' occurrences, even though there is 'repeated evidence' on CCTV footage

·        It is extremely OBVIOUSLY there is a 'COVER-UP Club' that clearly exists at the City of Belmont 'management and executive levels, which Mr Christie is clearly  'leading and in charge of', in order to 'repeated LIE' and 'repeatedly make EXCUSES' for the sake of 'Deliberate Avoidance of ANY accountability' by City of Belmont CEO John Christie and the City of Belmont executive AND management personnel.

·        Again, the LACK of any Satisfactory action and the absolute NO CARE 'attitude' by the CEO John Christie in order to 'cover-up' other staff misconduct and 'cover-up' his own deliberate LAZINESS (to avoid work) as well as CEO John Christie's absolute ZERO Leadership attributes... does 'repeatedly' bring the City of Belmont 'public image' into DISREPUTE, which does have a flow-on negative connotations/tarnishing effects to both Perth and Western Australia 'public images' as well... which was initially caused and allowed to snow-ball repeatedly unresolved at 'City of Belmont' Council / Local Government level.

·        John Christie should be removed from the CEO position effective immediately

·        Mr Christie's CONDUCT IS OF A 'BULLYING AND DICTATOR' STYLE MANNER towards Staff and Visitors, including towards myself

·        I have been legally advised to call the POLICE if CEO John Christie continues to 'Bully/Harass/Threaten/Intimidate' (verbally or written) towards myself or if seen to occur towards other people

·        The City of Belmont 'complaints' process is an absolute waste of time for ALL ratepayers and no point in having a complaints if it is NOT used for its intended purpose

·        i.e. the CEO/Executives/Managers only conduct 'investigations and reviews'... BUT they do absolutely NOTHING else to in order to Resolve legitimate issues and 're-occurring staff conduct problems'... except they DO consistently/repeatedly 'cover-up' AND 'make excuses to avoid any accountability' AND 'avoid doing any actual work to solve real legitimate issues'

More specific information of the bullying/threatening/intimidating behaviours of Mr Christie towards myself and other staff/visitors:

= multiple complaints have been made by multiple people regarding Mr John Chistie (CEO) conduct, hence, these are NOT just one-off incidents;

= I was bullied/threatened/intimidated by Mr John Christie (CEO) as he ordered/directed me to NOT talk/communicate any further with other City of Belmont 'staff';

= also, I was bullied/threatened/intimidated by Mr John Christie (CEO) as he ordered/directed me to NOT talk/communicate any further with any of the City of Belmont 'councillors';

= the MULTIPLE Issues raised to ALL Councillors, whom are now considered 'witnesses' in terms of how Mr John Christie (CEO) and his Executive Leadership Team (ELT) handles/deals with ALL the issues/incidents that I have previously escalated to you (i.e. WA Public Sector Commission) to date are :   Cr Bernis RYAN,   Cr Margie BASS,   Cr Robert ROSSI,   Cr George SEKULLA,   Cr Deborah SESSIONS,   Cr Natalie CARTER,   Cr Jenny DAVIS,   Cr Steve WOLFF.

For the allegations of Mr Christie not acting on electrical safety issues:

= Incident did occur whereby ALL personnel in Belmont Hub complex were evacuated 'outside' approximately TWO months ago due to electrical faults/false alarms based on the Belmont Hub's 'smart' climate control system;

= Fire & Rescue did attend, so this incident would have been officially recorded;

= PRIOR to this incident, there were Repeated & Multiple complaints that were made by both 'staff and visitors' of the temperature being 'consistently too hot' inside due to electrical cross-wiring between rooms that was very clearly evident and reported multiple times to maintenance department;

this remains unresolved with Maintenance and OHS departments.
