CCS is doing some shady stuff with my medical bills. They're changing the dates and amounts due and even pretending to make payments without my say-so. Plus, they're charging me twice for my Medicare copays, which is totally illegal. I'm not putting up with this nonsense, so I've hired a lawyer and an accountant to investigate. Once we've got all the evidence, we're going to report CCS to the Attorney General's Office in Anchorage for fraud. And get this - Equifax is in on it too! They're messing with my credit report to try and force me to pay up. It's not right, and I'm not going to stand for it.

I was on the phone with three people from Cornerstone Credit Services, LLC for 30 minutes. I talked to Phillis Employee Number: *** for 13 minutes. Phillis was not nice to me when I told her that I was billed wrong. She kept telling me how my insurance worked. Then I talked to her boss Danielle Employee Number: *** for 17 minutes. After that, I talked to their boss. He told me that the bills were co-pays. The whole call was 30:32. The last 13 minutes were me asking for information about the bills and telling them that Phillis wasted my time. I wanted her to get in trouble. I asked for proof that she got in trouble, but they couldn't give it to me. I know that debt collectors have a hard job, but I was being nice until Phillis was mean to me.

this company is tryna collect on a debt that been paid n never in collections. i dunno what they think they doin but they need to get their facts straight. dont waste ur time with them.

i had a bad experience with cornerstone credit services, llc. they won't get rid of an account that i already paid off, and it's hurting my credit score for getting a mortgage. it's really frustrating and i don't recommend them.

this company is tryna get money from me for somethin' i already paid. i didn't say they could look at my medical stuff and they keep callin' me all the time.

This company is tryna get paid for a debt that's already been paid by my insurance company to the original creditor. They say I owe them money but I already paid up. I wrote them a letter on March 1st and they still haven't gotten back to me. Ain't that just great?

I asked for proof of debt, but Cornerstone Credit Services, LLC didn't answer in time like they should have under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. So, I told the 3 credit agencies to take them off my credit. They did, but then about six months later, they showed up again with a note saying the dispute was settled and the debt was legit. I've been trying to argue this debt ever since, but it's been no use. They didn't give me proof in time, so they should stop bothering me. But they keep adding interest and hurting my credit score.

I need them to take off the wrong account from my credit report. My info got caught up in the hack on them telecom companies that sell info. I don't owe them nothing, but they keep putting bad stuff on my credit report. Can you help me get rid of it? Also, they broke Section 807 of FDCPA (15 USC ***e) by lying and tricking me into paying.

Me and my wife was tryna get a mortgage and our loan guy said we gotta remove the cornerstone acct to get a better rate. We called cornerstone and they said it's all good cuz we already paid it off. But then they called back and said they can't help us and we gotta call again. So we called again and told them we paid it off 6 months ago and wanna get it removed. They said they'll check it out but it's been 2 weeks and still nothin'. Ain't got no answers and it's still on our credit.

I called this company to pay off some of my debts, but my financial counselor told me to pay off creditors who will remove the debt from my credit score because I'm trying to buy a house this year. When I told them that, they said their company don't remove the debt from my credit history. They just show it paid in full. I told them I'd go to another creditor, as my financial counselor said, and pay them later. The next day, they added between $1 and $7 to each of my accounts, and my credit score went down almost 50 points!

Cornerstone Credit Services, LLC is at it again! They keep sending us bills and scary letters for debts we don't even owe. We already paid Alaska Communications $81.73 on February 5 with check number 2081, and it was cleared at Alaska USA Federal Credit Union on February 9. This is the second time in just two months that they've either called us or sent us a threatening letter for a debt that's not even ours. We want them to apologize and stop with their nonsense!

So this company called me up for some money they said I owed them. We got cut off and they never called me back. I forgot about it and then BAM! Six months later it shows up on my credit report without any warning. I paid it off right away, but it's still messing up my credit score. These guys don't care about helping you out, they just want your money. If they want me to ever pay them again, they need to earn my trust. Otherwise, they can forget about getting any more of my hard-earned cash. They clearly don't care about helping people out. The only way to fix this mess is for them to take it off my credit report. Otherwise, everyone needs to know how they do business.

This place that collects money is breaking some laws (1st). They didn't check if the money they say I owe is real or not, which is against the *** Section 809 (15 U.S. Code ***g). I asked them for details about the money they say I owe, like how much it is and who I owe it to, but they didn't give me any of that. They're not doing what they're supposed to do. Also, they're breaking the Section 807 of *** (15 U.S. Code ***e) because they're lying and tricking me to get me to pay. They need to get rid of my account because they broke the law a lot and they need to stop telling the credit people wrong things about me. If they don't do what I say and take away the bad stuff they said about me, I might have to go to court.

So, I had a medical bill that I didn't pay and it went to Cornerstone for collections. I know I messed up by not paying it, but I had a lot of medical bills coming in and it just slipped my mind. The thing is, Cornerstone never even tried to contact me about it. I had no idea they had it in collections until I got denied for a car loan and saw my credit report. They've had it for 3 years and never once reached out to me. If they had, I could have paid it off and avoided a bad mark on my credit report for the next 7 years. It's just not cool that they don't even try to settle accounts. I made a mistake, but they didn't even give me a chance to fix it. That's why people hate collection agencies. All they had to do was call me and we could have worked something out.

So, I got this letter from Cornerstone Credit Services, LLC on October 13, 2022. They said I owed money for a ticket I didn't pay for from EASY Park on June 16, 2022. They said it was for a vehicle with license plate *** 214, but I checked my records and I never had a vehicle with that plate number. When I called EASY Park, no one answered and their website just told me to pay at the cashier's office. Cornerstone asked me to pay $***, but I didn't think it was fair because I never got a ticket or violation notice from EASY Park. I went to register my 2013 *** F150 on October 20, 2022 and found out that *** 214 was the previous plate license for the same truck I was registering. I bought it from an auction and it was salvage, so there was no plate license. I was waiting for parts to fix it and it was parked on private property until October 11, 2022. I think EASY Park should have sent me a ticket first before transferring it to a collection agency. I'm disputing this violation.

This company is harassing me about an account already paid by me to the creditor that was paid as agreed. Which is reporting on my credit report as a delinquent account.
