On July 13, 2022, we had solar panels installed. Core Energy Group contracted Solgen Construction to do the work. On August 18, 2022, the city inspection was done & it failed the inspection.

We tried to contact both parties including the sales rep but got nowhere. When we decided not to pay Mosiac, the financial company, then the sales rep called & Core Energy contacted us thru texting only. Both parties were only concerned about getting money. Not whether or not the work was done correctly, or whether or not we could use our solar, or whether or not our PG&E bill was going sky high because of not being able to use solar. They only wanted money.

Now Mosaic has sent the bill to a collection's agency called Concord. We sent in a complaint to the Contractors State License Board. We're waiting to hear back from them.

We're not sure that Solgen Construction know how to install panels & correct the panel box.

Sincerely,

Sam & Sandy Hutchins

Desired outcome: We want to be able to use solar & get our PG&E bill down. We would like them to pay for everything for putting us thru all of this, by hiring someone else to do the work. And yes, it would be nice for them to admit they blew it.
