For years this woman has been rescuing and hoarding animals; she has a clever way of manipulating people into giving her money to live on which she never repays. If you're kind and easily influenced with a sob story...stay away from Coral Kerr...she'll accept your help and when you stop helping she moves on to other victims. Coral is a master manipulator; she is extremely articulate and knows how to evoke an unwary person's sentiment. As much as you are (perhaps unwittingly?) Willing to give, she will take. I do personally know her. I gave her many many helps. I did not ask to be repaid. Finally i realized that i was being 'had' many years after the fact. Yes, Coral is charming, she is an amazing person. But if you are sentimental, have unclear boundaries or a traumatic background within which you have attachment issues, i would stay away. You may feel the urgency to help, and you may later discover that you gave too muc.h.
I've known Ms. Kerr for 25 plus years. She has wide respect in the animation community for her work, immense talent and creative spirit. Coral is deeply passionate about animals and sadly her actions have been misconstrued and misinterpretted by those who do not personally know her. I have assisted Ms. Kerr over the years from time to time, and have always been repaid in kind. She has always accepted with grace, dignity and understanding the times I was unable to give a hand.
