I purchased a Convection oven on 06/30/2022 for a new business I was starting called Mama Lu Lu's Diner. I paid in full $2649 and purchased an additional warranty for $130.65. The oven was installed by J. S electric and was never used until we opened on 10/04/2022. On 10/17/2022 the heating element went out of the oven. The oven's power is on, the fan and the light work but the oven will not heat up. I immediately contacted the company and was told that I had to file an online ticket at Ready Kitchen Warranty.com (did that the same day.) I was told by the rep on the phone that it could take 2 weeks to get a repair guy to look at it. I expressed my concern to them that this was my only source of cooking for the diner and this would effect my business and the oven was preictally brand new. I was assured that I would be put at the top of the list and someone would contact me the next day. I waited 2 days and called back because I did not hear anything and was told that I had to send a receipt from the company that installed it before they would send anyone out. I was never told this at the beginning or I would have already done it. I sent this to them on 10/27 and still have not heard anything from them. I called them today and was given the run around and was told it could be another week before someone is sent to look at it. I asked if they would be bringing parts to fix it at that visit and was told no, that this was only to figure out what's wrong with it. I understand that things happen, but when the oven is brand new and this is effecting my business it should be delt with as soon as possible. Please help me get this resolved.
