If I were a company looking for a commercial collections company or a collections agency job seeker I would be very cautious about these guys. The management there is terrible. They were run out of their previous companies. Mr. Steele was fired from NRS, where he was literally escorted out of the building and recently he was fired from Burt and Associates.

As for working for these guys, what a treat! To be yelled at daily, told you don't know what you are doing, and put under someone's thumb daily is just such a joy. I bet there are 100's of people that used to work with them that would run if they heard their names again.

If the clients knew what they were capable of doing and have done, they would be fired in an instant. Forcing clients to settle debts after only working it for one day, "jacking up" clients, "training" clients, and other obscene things they would say are just scary in today's environment.

I'd be surprised if clients don't start getting sued as a result of these guys treatment of debtors. If you want someone to harass and yell at the debtors, then they are the right ones to do it. If you want someone that uses a more modern approach and preserves your clients dignity and still collects your money, go elsewhere.

Buyer beware here! Law suits waiting to happen.

This is Rick Steele , been a while since the fools at Burt and Associates ( not sure they are still in business) posted this BS abut my history . Matt Travis and Ken Bone have eating my dust for 12 years now and we are still on fire! The new owner Bone got screwed badly by the current owner at that time and the poor guys had to make this stuff up to keep clients. Karma is so beautiful.

Cindy Costillo, your husband has personally guaranteed a commercial debt that either of you apparently refuse to address. BIG EASY BUYING GROUP owes money. I apologize if you feel we have done anything other than make an attempt to address your debt. Last I checked LA is a community property state. Rick Steele [protected]

This company is the worst. They have called my place of employment trying to collect for a debt that my HUSBAND'S COMPANY owes. The man (I won't say gentleman because he's anything but) Michael Cameron repeatedly called my place of employment, threatened my employees, even threatened (laughably) to call my boss all in an attempt to collect a debt that my husband's company owes. When asked not to call me any longer, in violation of Fair Collection Act practices, he CONTINUED to call me repeatedly. I have now had to send a certified letter requesting them to stop contacting my employees and place of business. I'm not sure that will work, but at least now I'm recording the calls and collecting evidence to file suit against them. Don't try to negotiate with these guys. They are basically terrorists who think they are above the law and do not follow the letter of the law.
