Paid them $50 to unlock a sprint phone so I could activate it on AT&T. They responded to my emails immediately until I paid them. Once I paid them they stopped answering. Sent at least a half dozen emails and they finally responded to one saying they were waiting on Sprint (their site says 1-3 days but it had been a week). Waited longer and still no unlock code or any more responses to my emails. Also called the number from my credit card bill and no answer. Finally had to complain to credit card company and they refunded my $50. Also found out after the fact that you can call Sprint directly and it's the law that they have to unlock their phones so this site is basically just paying a middle man to make a phone call for you, which they apparently don't actually do anyways. It also turns out that Sprint is on a different operating system than AT&T so even once it's unlocked, a Sprint phone can't be activated with AT&T. So we went through a lot of hassle for nothing. But the bottom line is this company is just a scam- do not give them any money!
I have placed an order to unlock my Sprint Iphone 6 on website Legitunlockingcodes.com, after which I emailed them to ask for the expected delivery time on my activation key, to which they didn't respond, so this prompted me to search for the website's legitimacy and there are several factors which point towards this website being fake.
1- Scamadviser.com rates this website as "Low Trust Rating. This Site May Not Be Safe to Use."
3- Complaintboards.com says this website is a scam and there are several stories posted by users of legitunlockingcodes.com explaining the same situation that I am in, how they were taken money from and never responded to again even though the website says 100% moneyback guarantee but has no phone number and does not respond to any emails that you may write to them.
2- on http://www.prnewswire.com/, legitunlockingcodes.com has written about themselves telling "Media Contact: Nicholas Mburu, Legit Unlocks, [protected]", but when you contact this number, no one picks up and legitunlockingcodes.com does not also mention any phone contacts on it.
4- The payment went to "Archie David" instead of Nicholas Mburu or Legitunlockingcodes.com.
so these are sources how I concluded that the payment was made to a fake account and how I had been successfully scammed.
Thanks
i paid them 39$ for unlocking the Carrier, but its been over a week now, now they didn't respond to any of my email. They are surely a scam.
it is a scam. I had the same problem. Now they don't reply to my emails either. Should have read your post before paying them $50. They are filthy mother ###ers.
