Wpromote.com review: I would never associate with this company again 1

I would have to say, the worse SEO company I've worked with of all time. I've worked with a couple of companies over the past 10 years, and all of them actually call me a few times a month to provide feedback and move forward with each campaign. After working with them for 2 months and blowing away $7200, I did not receive one single phone call to discuss about our SEO strategy. They don't even add the title tags, descriptions and content to your site. They provide it in a Word document format and you would have to add it yourself. Overall, poor communication and bad service. I would never associate with this company again. Not recommended.

Dear Sir or Madame:

My name is Michael Block and I am the COO at Wpromote. We take complaints very seriously here and hope that your disagreement with us can be resolved. My initial reaction is that some of the specifics of your complaint don't seem consistent with some of our fundamental practices. For example, we don't consider a client's contract to have begun until the initial kickoff call takes place between the client and the account manager. If this call never took place, then you should not have been billed for your second month. Second of all, we provide Word documents with recommended SEO changes so that the source code can easily be copied and pasted by the clients' development team. We only do this, however, for clients that do not grant us access to their website's back end. When clients give us FTP access, we gladly make the changes for them without additional charge. We actually prefer to make the changes for the client because it keeps the workflow moving without hassel to the client and allows us to show better results more quickly. Lastly, if you only paid for two months of service, then there is something inconsistent with our terms of service. We sign clients up for minimum six-month contracts for SEO service so that expectations are aligned and results have can manifest over time. If you only engaged for two months then we either let you out of your obligation or you reneged on your commitment. Regardless of the circumstances, we hope that we can resolve this situation for you. Please feel free to contact me at mblock @ wpromote.com (remove spaces) if you would like to reopen your case and find a resolution that benefits us both. Thank you for your consideration.
