I was first introduced to them and David Lewis (so called Consultant) in June. They were full of promises and would work around my commitments. I was promised consultations in Bristol as this is where I work. I gave the requested £250 deposit as requested and was told that they would contact me in a few weeks to arrange the next meeting.
Subsequently after not hearing from them in almost 6 weeks, and after constant trying and speaking to their so called receptionist whom promised me she would get someone to call me, nothing happened. I eventually got hold of one of Lewis's oppo's who said that Bristol was out of the question and I would have to come up to Manchester. This was not what I agreed, I complained and asked for my money back. I was told flat that I couldn't.
I have been trying to contact them for nearly 4 months without success, I have had 2 emails from Lewis trying to palm me off.
This company is a SHAM and a DISGRACE. Do not contact or get sucked in to their lies.
I am a single parent and work very hard for what little money I get, they have robbed me.
I am no closer to getting my money back and they will not return my calls.
I too have been scammed, he is currently at 103 The Rock Bury operating yet another salon and believe he is under the name of David Lapworth or David Lewis Lapworth. His mother Edith Margaret Lapworth is also in conspiracy with him. Disgusting pair taking advantage of people in need.
He is currently avoiding bailiffs from me but I will catch up with him!
I believe he was last working under the Parkwood clinic ? However online this is now closed?
Agree with complaints against David Lewis (Lapworth)...they are all complaints about the person, not the companies he has hidden behind, yes? Having had personal experience with him, I can express my personal viewpoint that he is conceited, arrogant, and narcissistic with a sense of entitlement that leads him to exploit other people for financial gain. Yes, me too, but I have allowed DL to keep my (owed) money, he clearly need it more than I do. The problem with narcissistic people is that they will never understand that it is not everybody else who is at fault, it is them all along! Poor him.
The last post by lady still owed £1000 o witnessed and client is now mine as I asked her not to have the replacement. Replacement is for hair loss . It is not an answer for someone with fine hair that has always had that fine hair, neither is laser as u can make fine hair thick . HAIR ..is grown, cut off root point down, cleansed, DNA code recorded then imported to UK...
WIGMASTERS then put there orders in pay themselves and hair gets sent to them ...
WIGMASTER then custom make the systems hair by hair drawing, knotting and sealing exact to the order...
This is very long process some clients wait longer as there hair has to be an exact match and and that hair might be in wait of arrival...
DAVID LEWIS of PARKWOOD fact: his systems are the very best ...This man does all he can but some things are out of reach and in the hands of others, its a part of hair replacement...very unfair to try to ruin a man by reviews .complaints should be in writing direct to him so he can rectify any problem. When money is handed over to david, , that money then goes to the wig master not David's pocket..
EBAY may I say are copies from china on plastic and fabric base.hair is mixed to profit more on the sale.

Im a hair specialist, educator, teacher of 25 yrs .I find bad reviews online shocking and un called for .David is very approachable I know he would do all he can for any client..he dosnt deserve all this

Parkwood clinic statement, the above comments are totally false and untrue once again these comments are dirrected at whitecliffs hair studio not parkwood clinic. Mr steve walters who has made the liabus statements above was offered his hair treatment by ourselves free of charge even though we had no obligation to do so. We offered this jesture as mr lewis informed us what had happened to him at whitecliffs and said he was a nice guy. We had him booked in at our clinic but he did not turn up for his appointment. We have tried to help mr walters and to receive these vicous and personel comments is really unfair as we are a company that is proud of our reputation and dedication to all of our patients. David Lewis now operating same sub standard service called Parkwood Clinic in Prestwich. Funny, although he claims this is his own company, started by himself out of his own pocket, all from scratch, blah, blah...the company director seems to be a 24 year old girl called Sophie ver Maas...could this be his daughter? He has much to hide. A total snake.

Hate to tell you this but this company doesn't exist anymore. David Lewis is on his own in Manchester somewhere. This guy is an original class act. Never have I met such a greedy, uncaring man in my life.
