Westbury Jeep / Oil Never Changed

WARNING: "STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AS YOU CAN" do not buy any cars or ever ever have your car serviced at Westbury Jeep. On two seperate occasions within six months I had brought in my Grand Cherokee for an oil change and it was never done after paying for it. They got caught twice doing this and tried to deny everything, the manager there is clueless and cannot even tell if an oil change has been done, anyone that has changed oil change can tell this. They have recently had an advertisement that said "buy 1 oil change get 4 free", this clearly is a warning to keep away, how could anyone profit from doing this? The second time they got caught and I spoke to the manager he denied it again, instead of addressing the issue he tells me to leave. It was the response and how this was handled which was most disturbing. When I drove over to the showroom and requested to speak to a manager regarding the issue after a second time I got a response from an arrogant salesman or manager that said this is my busiest day and basically implied I dont want to be bothered, that said it all right there. Then I tried to contact the owner of this dealership and did not get much of a response like he did not want to be bothered either, great way to run a business. This is the thanks you get after buying two vehicles from them.

    Dear Mr. Nugent:

    I am sorry about your experience at my dealership. I know that you stated this happened 2 times at our store. I would like to remind you that our service manager personally demonstrated to you that the oil filter was new, and the oil was replaced as well. There is always residual oil left in the engine and this is why the color of the new oil is not as clear as you may have wanted it to be. I did receive your emails and asked our management staff to refund your money even though we did in fact change your oil. What they were most upset about was your language used when dealing with them. We are a professional organization focused on satisfying our customers, but sometimes have a difficult time dealing with being cursed at.

    I have been a long time customer of Westbury and have many oil changes done there...most of them free. I have never had a problem there and find them a delight top work with.

    Westbury Jeep has the best service I have ever experienced. I am sure they tried to resolve the problem with this customer. Sounds like he was difficults.

    Ok I for the heck of it came to this page and it just amazes me how, especially being in a major city as Long Island area, the people that do business, as Westbury, are genuine real people, and you will get absolutely no where in this day and age acting up in front of good people! See "good and real" people will never put up with behavior as such. That could and still be resolved by a adult conversation. By the way, I do not even have to know who and where this comes from, just correspondence in comments shows all I say. No business want "or needs" people with anger, who wants stressed out? To eliminate stressed out you must eliminate some behaviors is all. This can still be discussed on the dealerships end...just read how they come back at you. All am saying is nobody wants to feel demeaned when talked to. Give Westbury a call!!
