Non-completion of work
The local historical society museum was damaged by a hail storm in April of 2014, Welter Construction was hired to make repairs. Work was to be completed in July of 2014. The roof of the main building was replace, but there were leaks, it took until December to correct them. The stucco facing of the building was damage. They did the rough coat of stucco in November and promised to return and put on the color coat as soon as the weather top 45 degrees. It is now January of 2015 and the west side of our building is grey concrete while the rest of the building is a light tan. Welter construction was also to replace the skylight and demand money to buy materials, it has been almost three months and the material are yet to be order. Welter Const. was hired to perform 16 work projects, of those four remain to be finished and 10 had to be redo, some more than once. Beware of hiring them.
Failure to complete work
We suffered a hail storm in April 2014 and hired Welter Construction to repair roof in May. We also contracted to have windows and siding replaced. They promised to have work completed by middle of July. We finally got a roof two months later, but they did not even start the windows and siding until December under threat of legal action. Welter Const. signed a contract guaranteeing the work to be completed by January 1st, 2015. It is now the middle of January and we have a broken window that we have been waiting for 3 months from them to replace, our bay window that was the number two item for replacement has not been touched, and the siding in not done and nothing was chocked. We had heard nothing from Welter Construction in over a month.
