WE BOUGHT THE FOOD THAT WAS RECOMMENDED BY FRANK AND TREATED THE DOG AS IF HE WERE OUR CHILD...
THREE YEARS LATER HE WAS DIAGNOISED WITH DIABETES AND THE THE COST OF CARE ESCALATED! I CONTACTED FRANK AND HE BRUSHED US
AWAY...HE DOESN'T EVEN OWN THE DOGS HE BREEDS...HE IS A SHAM ARTIST AND NOT A VERY GOOD ONE...DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM A MAN THAT OWNS PUGS AND SELLS SO MANY OTHER BREEDS THAT HE FINANCILAL BENDEIFITS FROM...AYNNE, THOM AND LIAM POLINSKI
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Question #1 - If he handed you a VIZLA (brown/copper/red color) instead of a WEIMARANER (charcoal blue/silver grey color) why did you buy the dog in the first place? A Vizla is a completely different breed from a Weimaraner and there is no possible way to confuse them. You should have walked out the door right then and there.
question #2 - If the dog developed diabetes 3 years after you purchased the dog, what do you expect the breeder to do? While it's true that it can be hereditary, that is not the only cause. Is the dog overweight? Does it get plenty of exercise or is it fed scraps from the table and kept indoors? Has it had an illness recently that could have affected it?
While it's good that you contacted the breeder to advise them so that they could check their breeding stock for something they missed, it's unrealistic to expect them to reimburse you after so much time. If you called him up harrasing him and demanding money after three years I wouldn't blame him for brushing you off. There is too much else that could have affected your dog in 3 years that could be the cause of this.
My condolances on the diagnosis. The good news is that it's an easily managed health problem that once under control should in no way detract from Klaus's quality of life
