Paid for a lens almost two years ago, YRES I GAVE UP ALREADY. But I stumbled into the site while looking to get a part for a Sony camera I have with a broken button to take pictures. I found this DarnToothySam.com again and I'd like to warn others so it doesn't happen to them. I paid and received nothing. The owner is Thomas Drayton from what I understand. He ignores emails and won't take calls. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY OR ANY CAMERAS TO THIS PLACE OR YOU'LL RISK LOSING YOUR PROPERTY AND MONEY.

I would recommend anyone who has been scammed by darntoothysam.com to contact WWW.AUTHORIZE.NET which is where he does the credit card payments through. Let them know if you got ripped off by that site, hopefully they'll shut down his credit card system so he stops getting people like he got me.

DARNTOOTHYSAM YOU ARE A RIPOFF. IT'S BEEN TWO YEARS DRAYTON, HOW MUCH LONGER DO I NEED TO WAIT BEFORE I CAN CALL YOU A SCAM?

I GOOGLED WWW.DARNTOOTHYSAM AND THE WORD SCAM and your helpless customers are all over. you have cheated so many people. IF HE GOT YOU TOO, CONTACT WWW.AUTHORIZE.NET TO LET THEM KNOW.

DRAYTON YOU MUST MAKE YOUR MOTHER REALLY PROUD OF YOU

I see his business is shut down. You should visit it just for kicks. He has one page up with a nice "thank you" to his customers! It's more like, "Kiss my ###, suckers!" I, too was stupid enough to send the prepayment and my camera to the jerk as I live only an hour away from his "shop". Once he had the camera, he became unavailable by any means (email, phone message) except my husband got lucky once (I think he answered because my husband's cell phone has the same area code as his) and caught him on the phone several months after my camera was sent in. After several more weeks it came back to me from a Texas address (WHAT?)...and it was broken - wouldn't power up. I had sent it in for a bent CF pin, but it had worked in every other regard. Now I'm wondering if I didn't even get the same camera back, especially after reading more recent reviews. In any case, I got a broken camera back that cost $250 more to Canon to repair it to a workable piece of equipment. Oh, and no, I didn't get a refund on his $140 "repair" work. What sort of kills me is the dude wouldn't return emails or phone calls to customers but when someone called him out online, he would totally try and defend himself on the forums! I wonder if all the people he screwed over could sue him or something? Probably not but go to his website and read his comments. Frankly, I hope the dude ends up in jail, as he clearly is some sort of scam artist.

Class action lawsuit anyone? Is that even possible? He needs to be SHUT DOWN. I will do everything in my power to stop this unethically horrible person. I just filed a complaint with the NC Attorney Generals office, and I am looking for every thing possible that I can do to him. Anyone, feel free to chime up on ideas; he shall not be allowed to do this to another person.

I have had my camera stolen by Thomas Drayton and my credit card charged for a repair that I did not receive. I sent my camera for a shutter button repair in August and now he will not respond to emails and nor answer the phone. I have filed a complaint with the Minnesota Attorney General and have requested that they look into Drayton's "business" as a case of internet fraud. Meanwhile, I am out a camera and almost $90 for the so-called repair and return postage. DO NOT SEND THIS MAN ANY MONEY OR EQUIPMENT! You will never see it again. The fact that his website is still active is alarming. He is a thief.
